While I agree with you that $150k hardly buys the luxury a 20 year old version of me would have thought, your problems sound more budgetary than income oriented. Cut what you can and reduce your stress. |

Just added up my 2013 pay stubs
203K Gross, $250 bonus Spouse made 130K Gross, 0 bonus I have a friend who makes about 160K and relies on his yearly 20K bonus. I don't get bonuses, if you rely on them isn't that just like a salary? |

My payrolls with bonus always work out to around 50 percent withholding. It's annoying and it's because of the way payroll is run. Calcs withholding as if I make that much every 2 weeks. |
