I don't think he "likes" or "dislikes" any clothing or accessories at this age, other than disliking things that are uncomfortable or irritating (like hats. he is not a fan of hats). And I'm not sure what it would accomplish to put something on him that I dislike when he doesn't have a preference. But that doesn't really get to what you were implying. If he really wants to wear a bow on his head when he's old enough to indicate that, I'll let him. |
I have no feelings for or against anything you listed. |
You don't know what I put on my kid. We do shop at Target and JC Penny's because that's what we can afford. Congrats on being upper class? Fashion is a matter of money and time, which I have neither of and you have plenty of it seems. I'd rather my girls be Target wearing, stringy haired little independent children than frilly vain and materialistic little stepford dolls. |
Well said. |
| How is Lilly a thing? Time capsule material. |
|
Bows are cute only for the four and under set.
Just saw a southern fashion blog that said tween girls are now getting into big bows. Barf! (Plus those stupid bows are expensive.) |
| A big red bow allows me to find my daughter in any crowd just like an orange ball cap in a city full of blue |
I don't have strong positive or negative feelings about Lilly, but I hardly think you can claim that it's a "timeless" look. |

It shows care and attention to detail, plus some look super cute. OP, me thinks you have bigger problems in life that this, especially since you're Russian? |
| Haven't read this entire thread. It is a fucking bow people. Kids like them. We let the kids dress like absolute freaks right now, because. . .they can. Protected from the elements, warm, etc., but they look ridiculous. We have bigger battles to fight. |
Cretin minions walk the earth of inner NVA proudly, sad as it is. |
| This is a three year old thread, folks. Let. It. Die. |
Plus 1. The bigger the bow- the better the social/$$$ status!!!! |
Not until I add this snazzy photo. Now THIS is a stylin' bow. Traditional dressy outfit in southern Germany in the late 1800's. This isn't my photo, but I have pics of my own great grandmas wearing them. |
