| Do you know AAs who do not tip? |
Yes, I will still vote for Obama. -AA woman |
| What lotion do you use? Do you use the term, "ashy?" |
OP here. Yes, I am concerned about violence. But at 43, I don't tend to go to the same places or stay out as late as I used to. But the answer is yes. |
I'm sorry you don't realize that black people aren't a monolithic group. Smoking weed as nothing to do with being "ghetto".
LOL. Yes! Even have some in my family. I will say that most non-tipping has to do with ignorance. Folks that I know who didn't tip, thought that the wait staff was paid a normal wage and the tips were "extra" for them. So, they didn't like to just give away money "just because". After I educated them about the lower wage, they've started to tip. All leave between 15-20%. I tip 20%. I don't catch a cab often and didn't realize until not too long ago that you're supposed to tip the cab driver (why though? seriously why?). I must say that while I tip, I don't like tipping. -AA female |
WTH? Several black women have posted in this thread, and as far as I can tell, only two talked about weed, and one of them only smoked it once. I'm 23:16, and this is the ridiculous preconception stuff. Signed, A black woman who smoked weed once 20 years ago and knows of several white people who make a habit of it |
To answer the 2nd question. Yes, I think OJ did it but they weren't able to return a guilty verdict. He was not found "innocent", he was found "not guilty". That's the legal system and I think it worked given the evidence and reasonable doubt. But yes, I think he did it. His lawyers won. |
I usually use cocoa and/or shea butter. Othewise, Eucerin is a nice thick lotion that works for me. I definitely use the term ashy. I'm dark-skinned, so ashiness shows up much easier on my skin, so I lay the cocoa/shea butter on nice and thick. -AA female |

I forgot to answer the OJ question. Yeah, he probably did it. But I still have some doubt. The planting of false evidence creates a lot of doubt for me.

| Do cab drivers pass you by to pick up fares of a different race? |
| Do you use sunscreen? |
| Have you been stopped for driving while black? Are there places you avoid (that other people would be surprised to hear about) because you know you will be harassed? |
OP here. I used to live in Manhattan and it happened all the time. Haven't experience it in DC much. |
| Yes cabs pass me sometimes, usually at night. Yes I use sunscreen. |
Yes. But not as much as I should and I have dark skin. I always put it on my son. -OP |
