+100.
Really wanted to know answer to #5 too.
Just watch Jerry Springer or any of the court shows- a hand go up and they start repeating the same thing over and over again:"you lying, you lying, you lying, you lying".

Barf. No. I grew up in the South, and I've never had chitlins, how maw, or pigs feet.

I'm a vegetarian AA, and have many AA friends who don't eat meat. Most of them are vegan. Admittedly, most of the Black vegans that I know are privileged. They're usually well educated, and very invested in the Black community, and tend to go to all Black schools like Howard, Hampton, or Meharry. I know one vegan family where the parents went to Brown, and all the children went to Howard.

DC also has a lot of Black vegans who are Five Percenters or Black Hebrew Israelites. They own two excellent vegan soul food restaurants near Howard's campus; Soul Vegetarian and Everlasting Life.

Also, I have two AA friends who are bike enthusiasts. One is a guy who wears spandex, the other is a hipster folk singer in Brooklyn who bikes in dresses.

I'm white and have zero black friends but even I can answer this one: there is a huge movement to stop FGM (female genital mutilation). It was done in certain parts of certain cultures, and the more education women get, the lower the risk of each generation having it done.

PP here. I forgot to add that I'm also an environmentalist and an animal rights activist.

Like most 80s babies, I grew up watching Captain Planet and volunteering for the Sierra Club.
