Def growing up, not so much now as our lives are on vastly different planets. I'm a bit older than him too. He and my younger sister are still close.

The past? I'm a groupie right now. Love JT.

Jackson Browne picking his nose during a pre-concert softball game in Howard County in the 70's was memorable.

Danced with Rod Stewart. He's so short!!! And has a tiny waist and huge head.

Waited on Ken Starr during the Lewinski scandal.

Other brief encounters: Michael Stipe, Jackson Browne, Lou Diamond Phillips, Kevin Bacon and wife Kyra Sedgwick, and my favorite, Jim Vance

I posted about dating the manager for Van Halen. This was while Sammy Hager was the lead singer. Got to know all the band members pretty well but I never cared for their music so I never actually attended a concert although my bf was always trying to get me to go. Oh well

Hung out with the Ramones b/c another bf was Joey's best friend from high school. Love the Ramones! Also met the Talking Heads, Blondie (Debbie Harry is a doll) and Madonna when she was starting out and hanging around the East Village.

She said that he asked her if she believed in having sex with someone other than her husband. She said "absolutely not" and walked away in a huff. She told EVERYONE about encounter.

The irony of this is that her husband does not share that same view. They work for the same company and a week before this incident with Spitzer, he was getting a private lap dance at a strip club with co-workers.

My mom worked with Spitzer on a few things and he never asked her for sex. I guess he doesn't like heavy women with salt and pepper hair.

It was a pretty upbeat place and everyone was chatting. I started talking to the guy next to me and he commented that he was so happy to be going to his first show. It took me a while to figure out who he was. Turns out he was opening the show. This was in the Under the Table and Dreaming years and he was pretty laid back.

I also played pool and drank with the guitar player from STP but my friend and I thought it would be cooler if we pretended we didn't know who he was so we didn't mention it.

I think this one is cool, not just because I love DMB, but because you didn't just spot him - he actually shared this with you...and then went on to become so famous himself.

A friend of mine was dating Benecio del Toro in the early 90s when I went to visit her in LA. I was coming from the east coast and got in in the evening. They were filming some independent thing at a hotel that evening, so I crashed in one of their rooms and ended up falling asleep. When I woke up, Benecio was asleep next to me on the bed. So I have "slept" with Benecio del Toro. No funny business; he was very nice.

Sure.!

His eyes were azure blue. He was about 6'2' 185lbs. He smelled like a very expensive leather couch we met with group a fiends in NYC. We were pub/bar crawling and as the night wore on he got more interested in me. I knew who he was--not famous famous --but the son of a famous Boston Pol--a famous hugely powerful Boston family He was the son of the Treasurer of the Commonwealth for the State of Massachusetts. His great grandfather's name was on the US Currency. Blueyes' initials are BG. He had flecks of paint under his nails. He talked to me at the bar like I was the only soul in the world. His lips were pinkish red and full--his skin was paper-white with apple cheeks nipped with the frigid air. We walked for miles through lower manhattan. We looked out at the city over the balcony at a swanky apartment. He came up behind me with cold hands. I shivered a little and pulled his hands away and placed them on my neck and inside my jacket above my chest. He warmed up on my core and leaned in to give me one of the sweetest most thirst quenching kisses that full lipped boy can do. I could feel that he was hard and I leaned into the hardness. He groaned and kissed harder. We fell to the double lounge chair on the empty balcony. He unbuttoned his shirt to reveal a tight smooth body. I was young--25--and had seen several young hard bodies--but this was different--his hands were smooth and big and strong, like sculptor's. He was a painter--so the supple sure hand that was gently pushing up my skirt seem to see as well as feel. His breath and skin smelled more and more of damp oiled leather the more we kissed. He stopped for a minute to get up to walk across the floor to turn off the balcony light. The wind blew back to reveal his strong jaw line and thick perfectly arched black eyebrows. Kissing and breathing in, kissing and breathing in; we drank in each other for quite a while. Then he got up again to walk across the floor to open the drawer of the credenza to retrieve something. He strode smoothly; pelvis tilted out and up, almost unaware of his very large taught erection-it swayed and bobbed swiftly like the white whale In his Dad's fabled movie. He returned with a sprig of spearmint that he had pinched from a bush during our walk uptown He rubbed it back and forth between his fingers--he placed it under my nose--we both breathed in and seemed to get weirdly intoxicated by it. He went business below the wast with gusto: first with my panties on, then off. He seemed calm and very willing to wait his turn, As i moved to take him in my mouth, within seconds he was pulling me away and pushing mr down to enter: slowly at first--later with smooth slamming strokes--that never actually hurt but seared through like a hot knife.. When came his face was like a conquered beast, a surreally beautiful one. We went in to the bedroom and repeated the balcony scene in the bedroom. I left in the AM @ dawn in a cab I...I got his address and phone# but for many reasons, never expected to see him again--until years later at Govinda Gallery in Georgetown. We smiled and chatted awkwardly--he then sent a beautiful post card from abroad with two young women on the cover waving white handkerchiefs (good-bye or hello, not sure) I see his paintings around DC and NYC. I remember his "David" like body, the smell of peppermint on his fingers and wet leather on his skin and the intense blueness of his eyes.

All I'll say about that is that his dad was a Democrat and he was in office some time during the last 25 years...
