| I locked my keys in my car once and walked to a gas station in McLean looking for help. I walked in and stated the problem and the other customer at the counter made a commet to the effect of "Oh dear, that sounds like trouble. Good luck!", then said his goodbyes to the employee and left. The employee then asked me if I knew who just left, it was Kenneth Starr in the height of the Clinton scandal. I knew he looked familiar, but didn't recognize him. I thought he may have been a customer of mine. I was surprised he didn't have any security. |

Cookie Monster hit on me once.
But I'm pretty sure it was because I was holding a cookie. |
| I was hit on by Patrick Ewing a couple of times. I know 2 other people who he hit on as well. I was also hit on by that guy from Blues Clues....does he count? |
| My husband, in-laws and I met Mike Tyson at the Las Vegas airport several years ago and he asked to take a picture with us! He said he had never seen so many redheads in one family. We said sure, and he thanked us very nicely. Strange but fun. |

Which guy from Blues Clues? The little sandy-haired guy or Joe? |
| In high school, I waited on Big John Stud (yes, of 1980s WWF fame) at a family restaurant. He gave me an autographed picture of himself as a tip. I would've preferred cash, but my brother enjoyed the photo. |
Oh I would have been all over that. Which one, Steve or the new one? |

My mom met Elvis in a bar in the 60s. He was very nice, gave her an autograph.
Larry King was a d*ck to me once. I was a receptionist at an organization where he came to do (something, I don't remember - an interview maybe?) I was very young and didn't know who he was. When management told me to watch out for Larry King, in my head I was expecting a guy who looked like DON King. So this little old (even then) bespectacled guy with suspenders walks in and interrupts me while I am on the phone and I just gaped at him like, "huh?". He was not impressed. |
| I had sex with Peter Buck of REM and my (guy) friend blew Michael Stipe. This was in the early 1980s, maybe 1984? |
| This is so fun! My only story is that in 8th grade, on a school trip to NYC, we were eating in Planet Hollywood and sitting a few tables away was Candace Cameron (DJ from Full House). That was about as famous as anyone could be to an 8th grader at the time. I remember that she was beautiful in person and that she patiently signed placemats for 50 14 year olds who waited in line at her dinner table. |
Ken Starr was my sunday school teacher when I was in Junior High! |

I had dinner with Robin Zander from Cheap Trick. Nothing skeevy, just a nice dinner after a concert. There were three of us there, and he was super nice.
Met Scottie Pippen when out walking my dog and his dog sniffed my dog's butt. Awkward. Met Billy Squier after a concert as well. Met Tommy Lee. |
I thought Rod Strickland was the reigning champ but I see Patrick Ewing may take that title. |

I met Tom Selleck in Hawaii. They were filming an episode of Magnum PI across the street from my house. It was hot and I gave him a Coke. I also ran into him twice at the Turtle Bay Hilton McDonalds.
Ruth Joan Bader Ginsburg sat next to us on a flight several years ago. I didn't talk to her, but I really wanted to! I met Sinbad at an airport years ago. Dick Cheney is a friend of my dad's. He's actually a really nice guy despite the bad press he gets. Not sure if he counts as a celebrity, but I have met and talked with Fox News Corespondent Shep Smith many times. We lived in Oxford, Mississippi for a couple of years and I did several projects with the University. He spends a lot of time in Oxford, especially during football season. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met. And very good looking in person! |
| OMG - TONS of celebrities at MV! You have to look carefully behind all the sunglasses - without staring! |
