Are you Allowing your Senior go to Beach Week?

The dirty little secret about Beach Week is that its a hunting ground for the blacks from Cambridge and Salisbury.

They can't wait for the naive little girls from Montgomery County to arrive.

Don't believe me? Wait until the OC Police come to your school for their presentation.

Nope, no beach week for my DS. I don't think he'd even have the nerve to ask, after what we've been through with him this year and with the amount of money we will be forking out for the next four years. He can have his wild times at college.

That's funny, because when the Sheriff's Dept made the presentation at DC's school 2 years ago, they talked about being aware of the "townies" and they described them as predominantly White. So, what you are saying must REALLY be a secret.

I doubt that. Ocean City has a a police force. Not a sheriffs dept.

Uhhh....it was a community officer from the Worcester County Sheriff. Unlike you, I have no incentive to stir up $hit. I was refuting your secret with a fact of my own. But have a good day anyhow.

I did not do beach week and spent 17 years at the beach making up for it! Good times!

Could it be that the police dare not mention the menace of the Cambridge and Salsbury predators but are safe to mention the white "townies"?

clearly you don't understand the way a teenager's brain works, or doesn't work!! It has nothing to do with "being more responsible". Going to a party is way different than spending an entire week watching your peers drink and fuck around. after a few days of being responsible, they want in on that action. They're more comfortable around those peers because they've been spending day in and day out with them. next thing you know, your responsible kid is bent over the toilet bowl and god only knows what else.

No way is my kid going.

Very well said. The "my kid's shit doesn't stink" crowd will claim that this won't happen but in the end the girls get banged by strangers and everyone else gets smashed.

Yea...sure. That MUST be it.

I don't really get the beach week thing for teenagers. I'm ok when it's college kids. But, the drinking age is 21 so that means any h.s. grad who gets caught drinking is doing something they can be busted for and can ruin their college chances if busted. Seems like beach week is just inviting trouble.

theres nothing that happens at senior week that cant happen at college. Going to not let them go there either?

Hahahaha all you parents think just because you don't let them go to beach week they won't have sex, do drugs, and drink. BULLSHIT. I've done more than some of you parents and I'm only 16 and my dad and family still have no idea other than dating a girl (btw im a girl) and getting a tattoo. There not the" i dont give a shit" families either, their the "stuck up i go to church every sunday and never curse" family. I lived with my mom and dad every other year. I did bad stuff with dad but sneaked around but told my mom everything and she just guided me through and made sure i was safe because she knows im gonna do it she just want to make sure im doing stuff to limits and safely. Its 2014. Times are different. When i stayed with my dad i almost got hurt and nothing ever happened with my mom. I know a lot of the stuff ive done is horrible but its make me who i am today and im learned alot and don't have any interest in doing drugs or having sex anymore for a long time. 6 months clean sobar and not sexuality active but i am going to beach week this year and will drink but im going with my mom and a good girl. who will make sure im safe and will too badly regret. No need for any comments on my statement. Just remember you might think you know your kids but they don't tell you everything and if you ground them for life for doing something most teens do then you'll never know everything they have done.

Clearly, good writing instruction has gone out the window for today's kids. It's really sad.
