| I guess I am glad I missed the offensive post. I am glad I read the eloquent reply, though. Thank you! |
| Wow this Thread really got off topic, congrats to the pregnant 47 yr old. |
| OP did you have your baby? |
| Please update us OP. |
| OP here sorry for the delay: I delivered a healthy baby 6 lbs 13 oz and she has been keeping me so busy I haven't had time to update here. Thank you to all those posters that wished me luck, I hope you all get your miracles soon. I'll be posting pictures soon on fertile grounds. |
| OP, that's fantastic! Congratulations, enjoy your beautiful baby. |
|
Congrats OP!
I clicked on the thread because my mom had my youngest sister (naturally) when she was 47--#10 for her, 24 years younger than her oldest (me). #9 was born when she was 44, #8 when she was 38--those last two babies were especially cherished gifts! My next door neighbor was 47 three years ago when her youngest was (naturally conceived and) born. And he's still nursing .
Kiss that sweet little one for me! |
| Hey OP are you the one they wrote about on Fertile grounds, so happy to hear about your success. I'm 42 and 6 wks pregnant, first and only bfp in my life but I know we have a few hurdles to jump before celebrating. Congrats to you and your family |
Congratulations!!!!! |

44 with first BFP

| That's awesome PP. I am 43 and in my 2WW on my first (and only) IVF. Fingers crossed. Did you use OE? And do IVF? Did you do anything different on this cycle that you think might have helped? |
| NP here. I got pregnant on my first IVF try (after several failed IUIs) at the age of 43. Delivered a healthy baby at 44. I didn't do anything different on that cycle. Good luck. Fingers crossed. |
was it your first child? |
| PP 6:34 here, I'm still in shock, how long do I have to wait for an ultrasound if I have an RE? I thinkt he nurse told me, but my brain is so fuzzy. |
| Usually 5.5 to 6 wks, hang in there. |
