Well he's dead now, Mackenzie, so I guess it doesn't really matter, does it? |
| Anyone see the texts between Kenzie and her dad about “warm milk”? |
| I keep seeing people describe Strongsville as an “upper middle class” community but based on the documentary it seems much more downscale? 17 year olds living with boyfriends, none of these kids heading to college? Is Ohio UMC really that different from DMV UMC? |
Where? I didn't hear of any sibling in the Netflix doc! Weird!!!! |
He was a 20 yr old man effing a 17 year old and dealing drugs. They were constantly on shrooms, pot, etc. |
I disagree a bit. His father and sister were completely out of the loop. His mother knew about the issues with McKenzie but they somehow didn't? The mother knew McK was acting erratically and didn't contact the father or sister? Very strange family dynamic. |
| Why do all these kids talk like they are from downtown Detroit? |
+1 It definitely threw me off when I watched her speak from prison. Like where did that accent come from? Her parents do not have the same accent. |
I was wondering about that. How odd. |
+ 2 Kids who are that lacking in judgement and education and skills ... but have enough money to be buying designer stuff? And they have a scale and drugs and she's making all of these reels with blunts and bongs? I think the part of the documentary that bothered me the most, and heavens knows there is a lot there to be bothered by, was Kenzie's dad smiling a big smile and commenting about how "Dom wasn't hurting for money, and Kenzie liked that." What?!? You are smiling like this about your 17 yr old hs daughter's boyfriend having a lot of money when you know damn well he isn't an investment banker or something? They knew full well what was going on there, and smiled about it and acted like it was some great thing. It's some weird our-daughter's-drug-dealer-boyfriend-buys-her-Gucci-isn't-that-great? shit going on there. It kind of sums up all of the problems for me. This girl was NOT parented. |
OMG. |
Just read this post and feel like gagging. Who knows what went on in that household. |
I had relatives who lived in Strongsville briefly, and I grew up on the other side of Cleveland myself. From what I recall, there are some nice houses, but not what I would probably call upper middle class by DCUM standards. The high school looks to be fairly decent, ranked 52 out of more than 800 high schools in Ohio, with more than half the students taking at least one AP class. |
| What a trashy group of people. The only people who came off well were Davion's adoptive parents. WTF was up with Mackenzie's clueless, enabling parents? What a couple of dopes. |
| Killer Cases on Hulu, last episode of season 8 has this story if want more |
