Why is Raj so quiet?

The only candidate in the Ward 1 race who has committed campaign corruption is Kenyan and Muriel's friend Jackie. Move along, troll

Yesterday’s picture drop of Aparna Raj’s canvassers on X shows exactly one black woman who was forced to appear twice in the posts. Once with sunglasses on and once without. This campaign isn’t about DC.

Probably too late but time for OCF to audit Raj’s donations and “volunteers.”

What exactly are you trying to allege here? There's been no IE spending in the Ward 1 race, insofar as there's been any notable union activity in the race it's been the entirely legal activity of organizing their members to be volunteer canvassers (which if we're going to call that an in-kind contribution then we should all pack up and go home because then basically all organized political activity would be illegal, except for people who understand politics as posting on listservs and anonymous message boards).

Congratulations Ward 1!!!!

We elected a wealthy food blogger who attended Vanderbilt University, who hadn’t voted in an DC election in a decade, and is married to a union official who makes $150K/yr.

All your dreams are about to come true. 🥀

400 of your neighbors—teachers, bus drivers, restaurant workers, firefighters, and more— took time out of their busy lives to make that win happen. What did you do besides post on DCUM complaining?

Apparently, didn't vote for Raj. Is that good enough for you?

Raj’s husband is a union official who makes $150/yr. (Teamsters) Now she’ll make the relatively the same.

Congratulations and welcome to the bourgeoisie.

I'm not an Aparna hater, but I do find it funny she promotes herself as queer when she's apparently married to a man. I know one of the local gay publications tried to get to the bottom of this, but I was unsure if it did.

Got to laugh about this one.

Aparna Raj describes herself as a “renter” and that’s what happens when you’re a food blogger. You’ll end up renting. But, good for her, voters gave her a new job.

You people are so useless. Literally any amount of critical thinking or google would show you that the food blog isn't her day job. Do you just hate women with hobbies?
