Get there 6 hours early. I am not kidding. 4 hours you will miss your flight.

People arriving earlier doesn’t increase the throughput. This just makes it worse for everyone.
If you want to fix this contact the white house and your congressman.

Hahaha! Thank for the laugh.
White House and congress doesn’t care about us. That’s obvious.

It will be just as bad. I would get there 6 hours early and send part of hour group to check bags and part to stand in the outdoor tsa line. Do not mess around with this unless you have plenty of rebooking options. 4 hours is not enough and 5 is questionable.

Depends. The airport you are returning from could be fine. DCA and IAD are.

America is trash right now.

That's kind of funny because until 3 weeks ago, gas prices were way below the Biden fiasco, grocery prices for many items had stopped inflating and many were actually lower than during Biden (not beef, which the Biden admin tried to kill off because of methane, and it takes a couple of years to rebound), (don't forget your electric bills driven up by democratic requirements for %renewable at the same time that they were banning gas appliances and promoting electric vehicles.). TSA was working WAY better with fewer requirements to remove shoes, etc. So far, you have two prolonged government shut-downs that were planned and promoted by the Democrats to "look tough" against Trump. Your ICE thing is just ridiculous. Grow up - Trump voters (yes, we are allowed to have opinions too) wanted deportations. Democrats claim they don't want open borders, they just don't enforce border restrictions and then never want to deport anyone who gets in. Well, lots of people don't support you giving away our resources without our say. As for killing people, maybe those people need to learn what "protest" means, which does not mean following, blocking, throwing objects, spitting on, wrestling with law enforcement. It was unfortunate, but apparently folks need to learn that. Why don't you TRAVEL to an actual third world country and see which place you prefer?

Seek help. Literally any economist would tell you Trump’s tariffs were and are a disaster, trade is compromised and we’re all paying the price. Flag-covered coffins coming home from Iran—are you happy about that? Diplomacy is shot, even our allies are not only not confident in the USA, but the whole world is literally laughing at us. Measles has broken out and is ravaging communities—it that a “healthy America”? Not to mention the concentration camps that are the ICE detention facilities; and yes, concentration camp has a definition and a threshold and yes, these facilities meet that threshold.

Go to X and look. that seems to be where the most IRT updates are from people.

Honestly if I had a flight out of BWI I would try to get it moved to DCA or IAD if I could.

Not BWI, but JFK was almost as bad but now wait time reporting is back up and nothing longer than 30 minutes!

I don’t have X. News, Facebook are saying it’s moving better today but to still allow 4 hours.

Then download it and open an account. I use X just for things like this because it’s great for announcements of delays (initially I got it to follow the Nats because the org would announce on X first re rain delays or postponed games). I’m only trying to help. Good luck with your travels.

I don’t know the status of A/B/C today, but security checkpoint D/E took 10 minutes early morning in the standard line. Pre-check and CLEAR were open too and even faster. They even had a CLEAR rep there encouraging people to sign up with a free trial.
