I’m the one who posted it and I don’t believe it any more. Tons and tons of videos and FB and Reddit reports of people waiting 3+ hours and missing their flights anyway. For terminal A/B/C - Southwest and American. If you are D/E there is no wait, which is insane because they should just move staff over. The terminals don’t connect inside security. |

Trump singed an EO to pay them starting Nknday. Which is insane because he it means they could have been paid all along, just like ICE has been. This all cooks been avoided. |

| I stood in the security line at BEI on Friday night for 90 minutes which wasn’t bad. This was for terminals D and E. My friend was in one of the other terminals and she waited for 4 hours. And then our flights were delayed by a 3 hours due to some air traffic shutdown. |

For once I don’t care if he has the authority to do something if he can get TSA functioning again. TSA agents, and all of us travelers, shouldn’t be pawns in the political games. |

This. Understandable but the people with morning flights are in an impossible situation. We showed up 5am and barely made a 930 flight. An hour to check in bags and then we overlapped and sent our teenager to wait in the TSA line. Nearly 4 hours in the TSA line. It’s a mess. Our flight is half full and many people around us in line had already missed flights. |

| Anyone checking bags who cannot split off and send someone to TSA line (you pretty much need an older kid to go do it as both adults have to be present to drop the bags) plan to get there 6 hours early if you have flight tomorrow. |

| We are on our plane at BWI. Security was a full 4 hours. We are slightly delayed because 56 people are missing from the flight and because it’s international they have to remove all their checked bags. As soon as that is done we are leaving but no one else can board. |

| It’s a nightmare, flight delayed because so many passengers missing; lines at every service desk including at gate, constant change announcement updates, long security line. |

It’s nice if some flights are waiting. Our flight is not allowing late arrivals. They “closed” boarding and started removing bags of those missing. |
