The US has failed. Oil is not flowing, the Iran has crippled US air defenses, no “regime” change, Iran is actually working on a nuclear weapon, Iran is using solid fuel ballistic missiles, the US port facilities since the gulf are wrecked, US bases are wrecked, Israel is getting hammered, etc.

Iran has been planning for this for decades. They have 4-5 backups for all positions. We will likely see even more of an extreme leadership. We removed people who were actually willing to come to the table. And now we will have unknowns.

So many on this board seem to have no understanding of how the military works.

It is effectively a cult. They recruit these people as teenagers. Then they spend a few months literally breaking them down and reprogramming them, just like a fraternity or a cult. They are trained to obey. They can think, but not about their orders. They are not experts on the constitution or the rules of warfare. They are given cursory information to check a box, but the biggest message they receive is that they are to follow orders, not question leadership, and that they are on a noble mission.

None of these 20-something kids are going to question a damn thing. They are going to follow orders.

It's the leadership that needs to be stopped. Waiting for these brainwashed kids to risk their careers and their freedom to challenge some of the most powerful people on the planet is an unfathomable level of naive wishful thinking. It is not going to happen.
