I think most schools will be back to normal on Thursday.
|
So what about parents who have to work? |
We all realize it. People can walk if they really want to. |
PP you’re quoting, I realize we are lucky to have a high schooler so it’s not a problem to work from home. I remember the days of having a younger child at home on snow days. Some seasons of parenting are hard! But I really can’t get my car out anf walking three miles each way to school isn’t realistic in this weather (addressing the post directly above this!) |
Then take some time off. Problem solved!! |
| FYI - PG County schools are off until Friday. A lot of people posting here are going to be very disappointed come Wednesday and Thursday. |
Yep. 💯 |
I guess I have 11 mile walk each way so 22 total miles. Walk if they really want to. 😂 |
| The Venn diagram of people who wanted to shutdown schools for Covid and a few inches of snow is a circle. |
Did you have school age kids during the pandemic? Yes, everyone realizes that. Just because it’s never happened to you before doesn’t make it a new thing. |
You know, the university requires professors to teach online. All the grant deadlines remain. Not everyone can take time off. |
Don't have kids. Yep I said that. I am tired of this crap. You think schools do not want to be open? You think the county likes closing and hearing from you idiots? We had ice temps are not lowering it is not safe for buses and it won't be this week in many places. Deal with it like an adult. |
Nothing new. It sucks every time it happens. And everytime it feels they ignore the parents who have to juggle kids and work at the same time. |
I think school closing for a whole week is ridiculous. |
Change schools |
