It’s more of a presidential issue, given how few congressional districts are actually in-play. But, yes, I do think it will matter in 2028, especially when the questions are asked and the Dem candidates try to out-lib each other on it. Because I'm wise enough to consider what has happened in recent POTUS elections when predicting what will happen in the future. No single political talking point can overcome the downfall of a party that claims a historically unpopular sitting POTUS. The GOP is stuck with Trump through 2028. Not rocket science.

It's possible Trump could turn things around by 2028 so not to be a liability for the GOP in the next general election but his history of being an extremely unpopular POTUS makes this scenario very unlikely.

Trump’s approval on just about every measure is in the toilet, and he’s about to start a war to try to turn it around. Measles is running rampant, and people can’t afford anything, but Trump has Venezuela oil money parked in offshore banks. Plus, the Epstein files.
