No we’re terrified that our daughters will be assaulted by men in their bathrooms. Perhaps you should see and validate that. |
No but we deserve better. |
Good effing god! You and your precious daughter have undoubtedly shared bathrooms with trans women without knowing about it, or being sexually assaulted. On the other hand, nearly 50% of trans/non-binary people have experienced sexual assault. |
Wow, duh, you're a bit late to the party. Suggestions? Why doncha form your own party? |
https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/974980 Clutch your pearls about cis men and boys, PP. Your daughter is much more likely to be sexually assaulted by them. |
Yeah, Bill Clinton moved to the center. He was a "new Democrat" What garbage!! Clinton was a brilliant politician, but his move to the center brought us Dubya (remember him?) and now Trump. Hillary and the corporate interests trashed Bernie in 2016. He may have won because the US voters wanted something different, NOT another Clinton. We need a politician who stands for something, like Mamdani. Bernie's too old now, sadly. AOC? Someone different is needed now, not aome freakin centrist!! |
Very well said. Totally agree. |
No, they aren’t blind. They’re paying attention. |
| It’s so bad that Mamdani actually wanting to work on the promises he made working people is a surprise to the Democrats. |
| They suck |
That’s exactly the point. Men don’t belong in any women’s spaces. How can the Dems who support female bodily autonomy when it comes to abortion not see that bathroom is a way bigger deal? |
You’ve completely missed the point. Republicans are protecting pedophiles, rapists, misogynists, and old-fashioned “boys will be boys” behavior, which is statistically FAR more prevalent and harmful to young girls. Meanwhile, they’re whipping up bathroom panics that are far out of proportion to the actual prevalence of attacks by transgender men. For Republicans, it’s not about protecting girls. It never was. It’s about stigmatizing and punishing trans people. |
I used to think a party that could at least articulate what I wanted was better than a party that didn't, even if neither party did what I wanted in the end. My thinking on that has evolved. Sometimes parties say things that I don't want but do things that I like. That and Democrats quit even saying things that I want. Like they don't even bother Virtue Signaling anymore. The elites seem to think it is above them to have to explain. So basically, they lost control of the narrative on evil. |
The bolded is all there really is to the right wing currently. |
Dems don't support allowing men in women's bathrooms. Turn off your fake news, idiot. |
