They did the same to Jill Biden last week “Wife of Jill Biden’s first husband found dead after police call”.

Because the only reason that incident was noteworthy was because the man is the ex-dh of a former FLOTUS.

People know who Melissa Gilbert is. I didn't know who Timothy Busfield was until this morning.

Maybe it's just me, but I think he is more in the public eye than she is these days. I haven't thought of her in decades, and her most prominent, recognizable role ended more than 40 years ago.

She was in the press a good bit when she was president of SAG or some other industry org.

When is the last time Melissa Gilbert has been relevant?

The New Tork Times did a piece on her upstate New York cabin within the last year or so. She/her publicist have been trying to make her relevant.

But she's permanently Laura Ingalls

I always felt sort of bad for MG in that respect. Even when they tried to rapidly grow her up in the Little House series she always still looked like she was a little girl playing dress up. And when they tried to make her the lead in a Splendor in the Grass remake it just didn’t work with her in the role.

I didn’t know anything serious about Timothy Busfield, I just thought cool, two red-heads found soulmates in one another. Again, being totally in the dark about anything, I thought they were a cute couple and I felt like of envious of her. Watched her on instagram a little and I liked it when she embraced her gray and her aging. I feel a little half pint robbed now tbh

I swear, if I ever open the internet and find out anything untoward about my fantasy boyfriend Stanley Tucci I may just draw the shades, sit in the dark and eat bags of fun size candy bars.

He’s evading police. Not a good sign.

I'm always kind of fascinated by people who try to evade capture. How long can you live in hiding??

He's probably wealthy enough to go live somewhere without an extradition treaty. But I would imagine they'd simply freeze/take his assets. He may be hunkering down with lawyers coming up with an action plan before turning himself in.

I'm not recommending that you do a search on his name, but the first hits on Twitter contain allegations from long ago. Apparently this current investigation has been going on since 2024. People are now looking at everyone who he's ever taken a picture with and the nine letter word starting with p that we never thought we'd hear again is popping up.

sorry for being dense but what is the 9 letter word?

It begins with a P and can end with an A or E, depending on how it's written.

Pussaaaee?

I bet he’s evading the police until he and his lawyers prep a game plan.

If he's guilty, the former. Not guilty (or guilty but arrogant enough to think he can win the case), the latter.

At this point I don't think he'd be able to leave the country. I guess I don't have the knowledge or devious mind to figure out how to do it.

I am assuming he killed himself. Sorry to be blunt.

He turned himself in finally.

Thank goodness. That was getting really weird.

I thought the same.
But huh, he surrendered to police.

As suspected, it was about getting the lawyer first.

Well of course. If anything like that happens to you, I advise you to do the same thing.
