Completely agree and that’s what I do. You can tell I’m not MAGA by the accompanying candidate signs. |

OP here.
Well, this went everywhere I expected it to, and then some. The occasional lack of civility on this thread is unsurprising but disappointing nonetheless. Still not sure what we are going to do, aside from the obvious -- take down the "No Trespassing" sign (would have done so already -- I grabbed it and tried to pull it off -- but it is bolted into the tree in a pretty solid fashion). But there is plenty of food for thought here. |
And they have no issue desecrating the flag with other images superimposed on it. |
| In our area, every HOA offers a service to provide American flags on special days like 4th etc. Most people who have those flags, aren't any more patriotic than ones who don't, its just they remembered to pay the extra charge on time in first week of January. |
| I actually like American flag and as a naturalized citizen, feel pride to be able to wave it. I wasn't born here and becoming a citizen wasn't an uninformed and default choice , it was an informed decision. |
| I can give you a Free DC flag. That would be much cooler. |
If you hate MAGA, you must also hate America. Those are the rules. |
Those two things in combination would suggest to me that the person who lives there might have guns. So the current setup may serve as a form of security for you. |

Okay here is MY unfiltered truth……
I automatically assume that you support our horrible President and would think less of you. But I would hope to God that I was just being paranoid. 😉 |
| I would enjoy seeing the flag as I drive by. |
I’m curious where you’d go from there. If it was your neighbor hanging the flag, would you refuse to meet them? Refuse to let your kids play at their house? If you’re a delivery driver, would you refuse to deliver their goods? Genuinely curious, no judgment. Just wondering what “fall out” someone would experience if they chose to fly the American flag at their house. |

First of all, the flag should be illuminated at night. If not, you need to take it down at night. Otherwise, you’re fine.
I’d loose the no trespassing sign. |
