I proudly waved my little flag at every No Kings protest that I attended, so I don't see anything wrong with it. I would use proper flag etiquette, though.

Secluded/rural plus no trespassing sign plus American flag would make me assume you’re a Republican gun owner. I would feel a little afraid of coming onto that property even if invited. I’d be double checking the address.

I hate how MAGA has co-opted the American flag.

I remember, after September 11, how so many of us flew American flags in solidarity.

I will also say that I am not thrilled how LGBTQ has co-opted the rainbow. A friend’s young daughter was scared to wear a rainbow on her shirt because of what other people would read into it.
