Her January filing was pretty underwhelming. With those numbers, it is hard to see her getting traction. |
Press coverage comment then reply on finance reports. I’m a voter following a race not a campaign shilling on a mommy blog. |
It isn't campaign shilling. Someone posted an article and then I looked up the campaign filings and commented because her numbers were lower than others in the race. |
| WAMU reported Candace Nelson had the second largest cash on hand. |
Interesting. What crowd is funding her? Insider politicos? |
You and your neighbors speak for the majority of people in Ward 3, do you? Or have you spoken to a majority of people in Ward 3 personally? I'm sorry to break it to you, but your bubble doesn't represent anything other than your bubble. |
Right because she started her campaign months before most of the others and has already received the 'fair election' matching funds. If you calculate how the more recent entrants have fundraised in less time, she didn't do so great in comparison. Oye had a good haul and a lot of cash on hand, but he has been running since like August. |
| And with the blink of an eye, Eric Goulet announces his withdrawal from the at-large race. |
Yuck, good riddance. He can go pout with that trumpy woman who got caught posting trash here with her name on it. |

Can anyone just break it down into this:
Are we getting a Mamdani-like democratic socialist type of mayor or someone more centrist? What are the odds. Thanks. |
If you want Mamadami-lite, that is Janese. Otherwise, Kenyan is your candidate. |
The focus on rank choice voting is refreshing. It’s not what we all wanted, but it’s what we’re going to deal with in this election.
