What age did your DD get a second piercing?

My SIL’s daughter (from a relationship prior to my BIL) had a second piercing at age 8 and a 3rd at 10. She also got a cell phone at 8 and gets has had acrylic nails since about that age as well. I think all of it is abhorrent. My DD (18) was 11 when she got her ears pierced, she got a cell phone in 8th grade and she’s never had acrylic nails.

The question I ask is- is this really my hill to die on? Doesn’t sound like it. I’d let her get it.

Second piercing at age 13, third piercing at age 14. She loves earrings and wears them in all 3 piercings. She's smart, high achieving, plays sports and an instrument - she loves earrings and has taken excellent care of her piercings so I don't see what the big deal is.
