Guessing a 2 hour delay then at 10ish am they will announce early releases so kids can eat then go home before the chance of freezing rain or more snow

There will not be a delay and an early release on the same day. Delay or closure are the options.

Originally the forecast was for snow in the afternoon (but now it has shifted earlier).

Many buses do at least a middle school run and an elementary school run if not more. My kid's school buses do a secondary school, an early start elementary school, and then a late start elementary school back to back to back. I don't know if they'd be able to drop off all off those kids at school and then make it back to the first run for an early dismissal while abiding by labor and safety regulations.
