THERE IS TONS OF CLINICAL DATA.

This right here!!! I wish someone has called this out! My own child participated in vaccine and booster trials with very rigorous protocols!

Yes, and didn’t some of these trials and research say that the Covid vaccine was not recommended for healthy teenage boys because it could harm their hearts?

Actually getting infected with Covid brings a much higher likelihood of myocarditis than the vaccine. But for those worried, there are other Covid vax choices

But the vaccine doesn’t prevent Covid. It just helps with the symptoms. And that could help with mycorditis. Could also be a double whammy of risk of the vaccine and the infection even if mild. I don’t think we really know in this specific case.

can lessen the lethal effects of the symptoms - i'm willing to risk it.

Yep and it seems reasonable for some parents to choose not to risk it for their healthy kids.

No one has been forcing kids to get covid vaccines. There were some local requirements at the heights of the pandemic, but it's literally been years since there's been any requirements
And since I am immune suppressed, I would like to retain the choice to have my family vaccinated if we decide that is what is best....but that choice has been taken away
I now have a prescription from my doctor (an extra step, an extra co-pay) which will hopefully help me get this years covid vaccine for myself, but the people I live with can't help protect me

So F you and your choices

I’m sorry you feel that way. I support the right for anyone/family to elect to get the Covid vaccine much like a flu shot.

It's a nonsense exaggeration and lie to try to scare people about vaccines. This is insane that we have this idiot as the Secretary of HHS.

Why are you saying this is an exaggeration instead of celebrating? More vaccines is better right?

Also it’s accurate when flu and Covid are included.

It's important to clarify that the vaccine schedule relates to about 20 different illnesses. I believe something like that. Some require more than one dose. I would not term that a separate vaccine even if rfk calls each dose a separate vaccine. It's misleading and it implies that there are vaccines given for over 70 different illnesses.

I get my dog vaccinated for rabies on a regular schedule. So even though she has had multiple shots, they have all been according to the rabies vaccine schedule. And she's fine. She She has never had a problem with the vaccine. She has never had a problem with rabies does circulate in my area.

I certainly intend to give my kids access to the same or better level of healthcare that I provide for my dog.

Have you ever had your dog’s rabies immunity checked? We had to because our dog could no longer be vaccinated. She never lost her immunity

Maga is very anti science.

That doesn't change the fact that they're taking those choices away...

I'm not a vet, but I would assume the vaccination schedule errs on the side of being conservative to ensure protection because rabies is fatal.

Right. Are they going to do away with rabies vaccines for our dogs? Cujo wants a word.

I proposed a wildlife vax program for rabies in Western Fairfax county with excellent data, buy in from local vets and residents, who would personally pay for the program. The county was not interested in preventing or even eliminating rabies

Yes, because the government told the truth then and shared data in real time, transparently.

Yes! Now no one will be able to get vaccinated for anything. This is a smart play by smart people.

Wrong.

After those risks were identified , for one type of vaccine, for one small group of recipients …the vaccine was still administered.

New science just informed a more nuanced recommendation for young men.

No one with a modicum of medical knowledge was surprised to learn that use of a drug requires balancing risks and benefits.

RFK Jr. Or Trump are a lot of things but nuanced is not one of them.

Idiots like Kennedy (one of “America!s royal family) don’t understand that it is poor people who will suffer if vaccinations will now require a doctor’s appointment/a prescription, self payment, and taking a day off from work for all of that.

The privileged will retain options, but poor kids will not.

That is exactly who public health is supposed to serve.

Add that to the hundreds of reasons he should not be in charge of America’s health.

It requires a bit more (worm free) brainpower than a podcast.

DP...it is really condescending to say "I'm sorry you feel that way" - we live in a society, a community - with other people. We are supposed to be in it for each other, and particularly where communicable diseases are concerned. Your condescending response to someone else's serious health concerns is simply selfish and myopic. I really hope you never have family members in the same boat at the PP. I do and it is horrific to see how absolutely terrifying it is to know 40% of the population could not give a crap if they kill my family member with their selfishness.

The committee should refuse to listen until he's sworn in. Interesting Trump didn't put his hand on the Bible to swear in as president I'm so over the nonsense everywhere.

Call Mike Crapo 202-224-6142 (he pronounces his name Cray-po but he is still full of crap.) who by refusing to swear RFK, Jr. In acknowledged that he knew Kennedy is lying to a Senate committee and condones his lies).
