Is marijuana a fad that will fade?

You know they could do actual real research if it was federally legal and regulated.

But why? That's propaganda. If it's "safe" then no need to "regulate" it.

Only reason it's illegal is because the government, police, pharma, corporations, dealers, brokers, etc. all make more money keeping it "illegal" so they can keep up the perpetual "war on drugs" propaganda and money laundering operations.

If it were "legal" and "regulated" it would make them all less money, and couldn't campaign on it.

Food in the grocery store is safe only because it’s regulated.

LMAO I'm sure YOU actually believe that. Seen what most of society looks like now, all bloated and fat?

This claim makes no sense. Marijuana is not "safe" in the sense that table salt sold in a grocery store is safe--"generally recognized as safe" as the FDA would have put it, when it functioned.

When it is regulated for potency and purity, used responsibly by adults who are not prone to psychosis, it appears to be safe. But that kind of safety requires regulation, because producers can't be trusted to ensure potency and purity unless there is regulation.

This is also why you can feel confident picking up a bottle of Tylenol and believing that there will be in each pill exactly what is on the label and not lead, arsenic, or half what is on the label.

I agree that the war on drugs is crap.

Four tablespoons of salt at once will kill you.

It's not "safe" and quite deadly.

Funny how you thought it was.

You misunderstand what “GRAS” means. I am not saying that table salt is “safe” because I am aware of what you are describing—snarky though you are in describing it.

But salf is freely sold despite having potential for harm if it is used in a way that is a true outlier. Marijuana is not and should not be like that; it requires more active regulation of production and distribution channels to ensure safety.

Safety is an illusion only sheeple believe in.

Protect yourself, nobody else will be doing it for you.

Gummies are more expensive if you want a lot of THC.

Yeah, like vegetables or deli meat. Inspected and highly regulated, yet, numerous recalls after people get sick. There's usually a trail of government reports documenting failed inspections found later. Failed inspections that resulted in zero action by the government.

I think the best reason for legalizing weed is that the increased tax dollars allow cities to greatly upgrade their public schools. Money from casinos & lotteries did a great job in improving public schools, & weed money is continuing that trend. The improvements are so dramatic that I heard that by the year 2035, Baltimore is expected to produce a high school graduate who can do math at an 11th-grade level.
