How is it possible that I know 100% that you have never ever created a thread about the thick clouds of black exhaust that spews from dump trucks all over the city. |
If politics forum can have 1,793 threads about how much someone hates Trump, I think we can all handle a dozen threads about how stupid weed makes users of weed. Relax. Smoke a doobie or pop a gummie and stop being so uptight. |
That's pretty rare. Dump truck operators face hefty fines for that. And given the anti-construction attitudes of the local governments... |
I don’t think you understand who the uptight one is in this scenario but ok. I’ll definitely go pop a gummie. |
Ok. And? Thing’s don’t have to be universally the same. Enough folks would be snoring. 500mg would have me high for two weeks. Uncomfortably so. I’m thankful my dose is far lower and cheaper. I’ve also not heard of it only sometimes working. You’re getting non dispensary grade for sure. |
| I hope people contInure to smoke marijuana while driving so police can pull them over. |
Umm no you would not. You’d be stoned. |
| The transgender MN shooter was a pot head. It probably triggered the psychosis that led to this horrific event. |
Whatever crutch helps you hide from reality and cope with the misery of being you. |
Weed makes a shooter more accurate. Like it helps people drive better. And have better sex. Weed makes everyone a sniper. |
Whatever Stupid MAGA.

I’ve used cannabis daily since the 1990s. You are just wrong. Why are you arguing with me when I am being honest? |
Why are you arguing with anyone if you're perpetually stoned? Oh, that's right: long-term cannabis use leads to irritability when people start to come down, and increased potential for psychosis when they're "up". Yikes, bro. |
Yes, but I think we're still on the upward trajectory of legalization and use. As more people use, more people will become aware of the potential side effects (cannabis-induced psychosis, cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, etc.), which will hopefully lead to increased advocacy and outreach and, ideally, lower usage rates. Right now, a lot of people view pot as "just a plant", and may not realize it's an insidiously addictive substance with a very long withdrawal period. Withdrawal from even short-term cannabis use can lead to temporary depression, anxiety, insomnia, and irritability. A lot of people use cannabis to deal with stress or other issues that may cause similar issues, and may not connect the cannabis to their suffering. The increased THC content in available cannabis, and the availability of concentrates and extracts, and the use of less-noticeable cannabis delivery systems (edibles, vapes) combine to mean that a lot of people have a lot of access to a lot of THC. This is already an issue in emergency departments and psych departments, and that isn't going to go away until people are made more aware of the consequences of cannabis use. Eventually, the balance will stabilize. There will always be pot smokers, and cannabis has medicinal properties that can be beneficial to a lot of people with a variety of conditions. But for now? The rates of people using cannabis are increasing as legal access increases, and these new customers aren't necessarily aware of the potential pitfalls. |
| Move to the Midwest. Just got back from there and no pot smell! It was awesome. |
