HOW DARE THEY DO BACK TO US A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT WE DO!

Show me a single instance of democrats rigging districts that would result in 5 new seats. You can’t.

Didn’t democrats do essentially the same thing in California and Illinois?

Texas is pretty red no surprise.

Greg Abbott’s latest tantrum reads less like law and more like unhinged political theater.

Threatening to remove elected officials for quorum-breaking? Texas law says only courts, not governors, can decide forfeiture of office. Nice try, but this isn’t a royal decree.

Calling fundraising ‘bribery’? Unless campaign donors are bribing lawmakers to skip votes, which even Abbott hasn't claimed. This is political speech, not a felony.

Extraditing lawmakers for skipping town? Governors can't conjure warrants out of spite. These aren’t fugitives; they’re dissenting legislators using a known political tactic. Abbott's threat is unprecedented and on highly questionable legal grounds.

Motives? Transparent as plexiglass. This isn’t about justice—it’s about vengeance, distraction, and rallying the base with a dose of authoritarian flair. When your policies are shaky, you go after your opponents, not the problems.

Amazing the lengths the GOP will go to protect Ghislaine and Epstein's pedo clients. Abbott must know quite a few.

Slightly off topic, but what is it with Republicans Refusal to Proofread in all their memoranda?

You would think that Democrats could find a state that isn't the most gerrymandered in the nation to flee to in order to protest..... gerrymandering.
LOL!

In California, Republicans make up 40% of the electorate. They have far fewer than 40% of Congressional seats, so CA Dems have gerrymandered for way more than 5 seats.

Actually, thats a great location to start a national discussion about it, and right before midterms. Gerrymandering isn’t just a Texas problem, its (another) systemic national issue.

Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act needs to be ruled unconstitutional immediately. It's absurd, especially now that racists policies like affirmative action have correctly been found unconstitutional.

THIS and his little letter filled with threats is not legal. I bet he hates that.

Bravo to these Democrats! Texas literally redistributed sitting Dems out of their districts. They asked them for their addresses.

The National Dems need a lesson from these feisty Texas leaders. This is how you resist!
