And he cited legislators who quite literally said they were drawing the lines based on race |
THIS. And they don't even try to hide it. But, I guess that means what's happening in CA, VA and other lib leaning states is ok too? So, game on. |
This just shows how scared you are of her and she'll be amazing whatever she does. But, this is not a slam dunk for TX. The shift noted, and the watering down of the R districts to move out dems does not always work. But regardless you Magas are fine being the cheating, POS fascists you are and now it's on display for everyone to see. |
| So basically MAGAs are admitting that they can’t win without cheating. |
|
Cheaters never prosper. I hope this forces legislation that each state would adopt computer assisted maps to end gerrymandering once and for all.
States also need to end the "winner take all" for Electoral College purposes. There is no reason a state with 40% minority party (or more) gets shut out in the EC. |
Agree with all of this except it should be straight up popular vote. End of story. Minority rights still exist in the Senate as a check, and as it should be. Minority of the population should not hold everyone else hostage, esp when that party is full of cheating, grifting, POS fascists who are manipulating things. |

Texas is 40 percent Hispanic. The administration’s terrible mishandling of Immigration is going to turn Texas blue. Literally all they had to do was shut the border down and show off all of the hardened criminals they were picking up and everyone would have thought they were doing a great job. They just couldn’t help themselves and had to go the racial profiling route. |
Man, I wish I had your optimism. We have ample evidence that cheaters do indeed prosper. Plus, the Supreme Court has affirmed republican gerrymandering as A-OK, unfortunately. |
The regime had to redistribute our money (BBB) into the hands of private prisons and weapons manufacturers with Trump getting a kickback. And Steven Miller needs to make his snuff films to jerk off to |
FTR, none of the states you cited started out with gerrymandering in this decade. They simply decided to set down their knives and bring guns to the gun fight called by MAGA. |
