Disagreement over breast implants

It is wrong for him to tell you that anyone who wants them is mentally ill.

If I were you - - I would go ahead ➕ get them.
After all, you have had three kids, he wasn’t the one who had to experience changes to his body!

Again, what is this "had to..." crap? GOT TO. Got to experience having kids. Got to survive childbirth three times. Got to breastfeed. A body that shows the signs of these things isn't broken.

Your brain is corrupted, and it's sad. Someone is trying to profit off making you feel bad for some of the best things in your life.

The youngest is 7 so I think I’ve given my body enough of a chance to “bounce” back and the boobs are just not budging. I’m in great shape otherwise.

I would love to get conservative implants, just so my clothes fit the way they used to. I don’t even necessarily want a bigger bra size, I just want more fullness.

DH thinks this is crazy. He thinks anyone wanting plastic surgery is vain and almost mentally ill. It’s not a financial issue.

WWYD?

Guys always say that about implants. All I can tell you is that if your bed is creaky, get it fixed before you get them. Lol.

Not all men, bro. Fake boobs don't feel right, don't bounce right, don't sit right...

If you're a porn addict, and used to seeing giant plastic jugs and thinking that's sexy, maybe this works for you. But the scars, weird bumps, etc. aren't a turn on for most people, the numbness can be an issue for your partner finding breastplay at all pleasurable, and the whole "this object makes me hard" approach really isn't what turns most women on.

Fake boobs are for fake men.

In general, I agree with you.
The giant plastic jugs are quite different from what OP is looking for, though.

The only thing worse than obviously fake boobs are fake boobs that are trying too hard to be actual boobs. "conservative" implants are still implants, and will still move, look, and feel like implants. Doesn't change anything about what PP described, which was pretty spot on.

Men don’t notice and don’t know shit. I slept with 5 men this year. None of them noticed or asked if I had implants. I don’t have scars, bumps and the implants are tiny 250s. It’s 70% still my breast natural to feel .

Forgot to add - one of the partners complimented me for “beautiful natural boobs” and said that it’s “so rare”!

Hahaha

How big are 250's? I considered breast implants but I backed out just because I am very picky and know I could be unsatisfied with the look, feel of something foreign in my body. Implants do really round out the breasts though. Natural boobs and don't have a full upper part of the breast like implants.

Yeah I think the DH can never good give a good answer beyond “whatever you want, dear.”

Your kids will tell everyone, just FYI. A neighbor got hers done (into a B cup) after having four kids and it was all we could talk about for months. And her kids made sure to mention it when meeting new people a decade later.

False! Keep kids outta' grown up - adult conversations and business and they won't.

So you're gonna lie to your kids about why you can't lift anything for months?

Sooooo what else do you share with your minor age kids?
Tell us how your kids BLAB all your family business and embarrass you to everyone on a regular.

You have problems. There's a massive gap between lying to your kids about the elective surgery you chose to have, and whatever it is you're alleging here. I wouldn't lie to my kids about having surgery. Maybe you would.

Bet you'd lie to those kid about remaining in that unhappy marriage though.

Unfortunately fake books don’t fix marriages soo…

But they open doors to a new man and potential happier marriage…

Get them, book an aide for recovery assistance, and consider whether this is the only area your husband disregards your experiences.

She won’t need an aide. It’s an easy recovery.

Why would they say anything negative or ask? That seems rude.

I would ask on Reddit or somewhere else. The answers here were all really negative - which is so unlike DCUM.

How long does recovery typically take?

I think you should do it. Get a really good surgeon. And good boob jobs don’t look fake. The bolt-on look isn’t universal.

Especially if money is no object. 48 isn’t old. Don’t listen to the jealous grumps in this board!
