Why is the US so handcuffed to Israel's preferences?

Anonymous
Apparently handcuffed to Israel's preferences means not attacking Israel for defending itself.

The goyim are waking up to that fact that Israel have always controlled our foreign policy post JFK.

No! No! Fake news!

It’s just one anti-semitic, pro-Hamas, pro-Iran terrorist witch posting here over and over and over again! Literally every other person that exists is pro-Israel and agrees that Israel has a right to exist and a right to defend itself and also agrees that America only acts on its own interests, it’s just that America’s and Israel’s interests are the same - which makes sense since we are the good guys and everybody else is bad.

Seems pretty accurate, actually.

Haha, I don't know who this so called terrorist witch is but it seems like a single rabid Zionist repeating the same talking points anytime you criticize Israel.

Because JFK was assassinated before he could make American Zionist Committee for Public Affairs (eventually AIPAC) register as a foreign lobby

Can we explore why Iran has the leadership it has? Did we (the U.S.) do anything that lead to this? Hmm …

Can we explore why countries like Iran are actually hostile to the U.S.? Hmm …

No. Of course not. Of course we can’t.

Of course we can’t have honest conversations based on the historical record and the facts - because we’ve allowed the relentless parasite of Zionism (and its anti-semitism cudgel) to infect our sociopolitical construct.

Pointing an obvious finger at Zionism, whose alien policies and actions in the Middle East have cultivated enmity across the region, is forbidden. Facing facts head-on is also forbidden.

Instead, alternate facts are manufactured by Hasbara and regurgitated by our corrupted political class who long ago traded away their own integrity and America’s interests for a fistful of AIPAC shekels. The ROI on those shekels has been at least 60x over the past 75 years, so our political class also wears a shameful badge of ignominy for failing to understand even the basics of economic return.

Zionist propaganda reigns supreme. It’s gross. But maybe it will fade away one day. We can hope.

Honestly, supporting the shah was part of the cold war.
We did a lot of shit back then.
We put noriega in power.
We but saddam hussein in power.
Some of it was misguided and things like the domino theory proved to be laughably incorrect.
But we did what we had to to prevent the spread of communism. If you think capitalism is bad, wait until you get a taste of communism.

The Iranians do not have nuclear weapons, have not been moving forward with development, do not have fissionable material and are willing to negotiate. Israel attacked and failed to do anything but hit civilians targets. Now we are forced to attack Iran because they are not developing nuclear weapons?

This is just Israeli hatred of Iran and manipulating the US.

Iran had material at 83% and a lot of material at 60%.
There is no non-military application of u235 at 60% purity.
They are pursuing a nuclear weapon.
Should we wait until they actually have nukes before we act?
How'd that work out with north korea?

The Jews have suffered too much and need a homeland. Everywhere we turn someone is out to get us. Our kids are alienated in American universities and are being blamed for pro-Palestinian propaganda.

And while it’s sad to know that others are adversely affected by this diseased supremacist ideology (which only an ignoramus would continue to believe and insist stands only for a safe Jewish homeland at this point), at least everyone can be buoyed by the fact that more and more people every day are awakening to this scourge. And demanding that those who support the policies and actions of Israel are just as accountable as any other group that supports organizations or states that behave with such malice on the global stage, no more or less.

Unfortunately, Israel has never been any better than Iran or Hamas or the Taliban or Al Queda … they just happen to be friends with the right superpower at the right time.

Israel is much worse than any of those groups with a genocide of hundreds of thousands and ethnic cleansing of millions since it's creation.

This statement shows a gross ignorance of the history between WWII declaration and today.

Keep on raving and spewing antisemitic venom, it's not persuading anyone of anything.

How many times must it be drilled into your tiny brain that speaking the truth about Israel is not antisemitic!

Well according to the ADL, saying anything bad about Israel is antisemitic so in their narrow bubbled world view, they think they are right.

This from the same cast of characters that think that you cannot criticize affirmative action unless you are a racist.
You cannot object to transwomen in women's sports unless you are a transphobe
You cannot express concern over illegal immigration without being a racist.
etc.

I don't think anti-zionism is necessarily anti-semitism but for a lot of the naive ignorant young college kids it is a gateway drug for anti-semitism.
The anti-semites are selling their anti-semitism as anti-zionism and they are selling their anti-zionism by rewriting history and by relying on the progressive instinct to believe the losers are the victims.

The truth is not anti-Semitic and yes, it is persuading people. Thanks to social media, the truth is finally coming out.

Wait, you think social media is the source of truth?

No truth in evidence yet. Just fabrications to support lunatic conspiracy theories, and endless deflection of any suggestion that the Palestinians brought their troubles on themselves.

To be fair, not every Palestinian supports Hamas.
Only 37% of them support Hamas and they haven't had an election since Hamas first took power.
They might still win today but it would be a lot closer.

Not to mention the "facts" are simply made-up numbers for an event ("genocide") which has never occurred. Self-defense actions have occurred periodically since 1948, and the attackers have justifiably suffered in response, but that's not "genocide" unless you're on the losing side.
