Why is the US so handcuffed to Israel's preferences?

Anonymous
It seems that US self interest is always secondary to Israel self interest. I've never understood why we subvert ourselves to whatever Israel wants - even when it hurts us.

Why is this always the case and it there any hope of breaking the cycle in the future?

Wake up.

No one wants Iran to have nukes.

Not even the secular educated Iranians in Iran. Nor other mideastern Muslim countries. Or Europe. Or Africa. Or USA.

So everyone is going to keep playing dumb and let Israel take care of it.

The real question is who is going to lead Iran once their nuclear capabilities are taken out of commission and the Ayatollah is out.

Right now the guy who would slide in is even more radical and anti western than the current bad regime.

Many reasons, AIPAC and other zionist lobby groups, numerous dual Israeli citizens, Christian evangelicals and other Zionists throughout the government are just a couple of the reasons

Also Epstein and blackmailing of high ranking officials such as Netanyahu blackmailing Clinton

Can we explore why Iran has the leadership it has? Did we (the U.S.) do anything that lead to this? Hmm …

Can we explore why countries like Iran are actually hostile to the U.S.? Hmm …

No. Of course not. Of course we can’t.

Of course we can’t have honest conversations based on the historical record and the facts - because we’ve allowed the relentless parasite of Zionism (and its anti-semitism cudgel) to infect our sociopolitical construct.

Pointing an obvious finger at Zionism, whose alien policies and actions in the Middle East have cultivated enmity across the region, is forbidden. Facing facts head-on is also forbidden.

Instead, alternate facts are manufactured by Hasbara and regurgitated by our corrupted political class who long ago traded away their own integrity and America’s interests for a fistful of AIPAC shekels. The ROI on those shekels has been at least 60x over the past 75 years, so our political class also wears a shameful badge of ignominy for failing to understand even the basics of economic return.

Zionist propaganda reigns supreme. It’s gross. But maybe it will fade away one day. We can hope.

Of course facts and reality are tedious when you subsist on propaganda.

How? I don't see any mechanism unless the whole system of lobbying is completely overhauled which will never happen

The Iranians do not have nuclear weapons, have not been moving forward with development, do not have fissionable material and are willing to negotiate. Israel attacked and failed to do anything but hit civilians targets. Now we are forced to attack Iran because they are not developing nuclear weapons?

This is just Israeli hatred of Iran and manipulating the US.
