The order to deploy troops includes active duty, reserve and national guard. The order says to deploy a minimum of 2,000 with no time limit and no restrictions on area.

So troops can be deployed anywhere not just in La or California. It is at the discretion of Trump.

This is a good point. They should migrate the protests as soon as the troops are mobilized. When they redeploy, reorganize them somewhere else.

Trump will have to reinstate the draft. The US military will not hesitate to shoot unarmed US citizens but to occupy over 1/2 the county will take a lot more troops. Better start that forced conscript of men between 18 to 35 in the red states

Were you screaming this at the tv on January 6, 2021? I didn't think so.

I'm disgusted with the destruction and looting we see in city in riots and I support any degree of law enforcement necessary to prevent such destruction and looting but I was even more upset at what I saw on Jan 6, 2021. If a legitimate president had been in office on Jan 6th, 2021, a massive security force would have put the event to rest within minutes of the attempted security breach on our Capitol considering the post 9/11 world we live in.
