Buc-ee's first Virginia location to open soon!! Who’s making a road trip over there?

There are at least three obese people in that photo alone, as well as some weirdo still wearing a Covid mask.

It’s totally maga. They have “Texas” right on one of the signs.

Why is Texas a forbidden word?

I could see if you were a kid it would be fun with a wall of candy and all sorts of toys. stuffed animals and the beaver image everywhere but as an adult, I don’t really understand the hype.

We stopped recently too, since we were passing by. I don’t understand the hype. One of my kids got a sandwich and said it was really good. That was all we bought.

It was crowded. Really crowded. I hate crowds. What surprised me was how loud it was too. It reminded me of a county fair and Cox Farms all in one but the bad parts of both, the people and the crowds. I wanted out fast.

It’s a gas station mall. I don’t get it.

I would 100% prefer to stop at a Buc-ees than the South of the Border mess.

South of the Border is a haven for racists.

I hardly ever saw another person at all when I drive through so where are they all hiding? But in reality, South of the Border was actually one of the first integrated motels in the south where black motorists could stay without being turned away for their skin color. It was created by a Jewish businessman who was know to be a decent (not-racist) guy.

You’re trying to reason with racist demoncrats. You should know better!

We went recently because we were touring JMU and my daughter was really excited about it. I don’t get it. The bathrooms were nice.

I heard from friends who went opening weekend and got stuck in a line for an hour to get back out of the parking lot.

All the bougie NOVA snobs should do the rest of us a favor and avoid Buc-eel’s.

We don’t want to run into you there. Or anywhere.

Wow, dropped my DD at JMU then checked out Bucee - freaking mad house.
Never seen such a crowd other than at amusement parks!!!

Picked up brisket sandwich DELISH; salad & nuts were so so.
Impressed how much food they make in house - good for county employment, economy.

Other than cheap gas, doesn’t need a return visit unless late at night with no crowds.

It's disgusting. That entire area is. I refuse to stop at any of the gas stations there when I go to drop off my youngest at UVA.

I've never questioned staying in the city less than when I see posts like this. Every so often the NOVA subreddit will ask a question like "what new business would you like to see in your neighborhood" and the top 20 answers are all generic fast food.

If I ever woke up and realized the best thing I could possibly imagine coming to my neighborhood was a Cook-Out or Waffle House I'd probably blow my brains out right then and there.

Ugh. Buc-ee’s is utterly vulgar.
