Buc-ee's first Virginia location to open soon!! Who’s making a road trip over there?

Anonymous
Special trip to go there? No. Would we stop if needing to fuel up coming down 81? Sure.

Only have been to 1 and that was in Florence, SC when we were driving to Charleston.

Was it huge? Yes. Was it crowded? Yes. Were the bathrooms clean? Yes. Was the food good? Yes. Did we spend too much time there? Yes. Did we buy snacks and themed gear? Yes.

More likely to hit the one coming in New Kent on the way to the beach or on 95 as well.

Bucc-ee’s patrons are typically dumb and obese.

It’s a novelty because it is so big with so many products but when it comes down to it, it’s a gas station convenience store with very clean bathrooms.

When you go get the brisket sandwich, the spiced nuts and browse the fun aisles.

Yes this. It's worth a stop if you are driving by, but I would not drive there to just simply GO to Buc-ees. We went in Texas and it was fun, but not "drive 4 hours round trip" fun.

There are fat people everywhere, not sure why that was so shocking to you.

I love Buc-ee’s! But I would not drive hours out of my way to go to one. They are great stops on a road trip though!

She sounds like my kind of woman, ain’t afraid to put some meat on her bones, ain’t ashamed to feel comfortable in public. Was she single, I wonder? I might have found my true luv.

It has little variety, just larger quantities. I agree with the Cracker Barrel crossed with Walmart comment, down to the ticky-tacky home decor and cheap branded clothing.

Been in 2 on road trips. No need to do that again.

Nicely put. It's just a stop on a road trip.

Maybe the problem is that I was introduced to it too late in life. If the Stuckey's of my youth returned, for example, I'd be thrilled. But Buc-ees has no hold on me.

Ugh. Bucc-ee’s is vulgar.

250 lb. women do, that’s who, and I don’t recommend getting between her and the Buccee Balls, nor the pecan —pronounced pee-can, pie. You might get run over by a mobility scooter.

Only if the real Bucky the Badger shows up!

Good food, ok prices, buy some high end jerky and roasted almonds.

Always keep 1 person in your car to avoid theft or keying of your vehicle.

Can check out fast.

Sigh. Oh, you sweet summer child,

I’m with PP. you’re the one that sounds like you have a screw loose! This has so little to do with the DC area.
