Someone give a rundown/summary of the GC v SMR game, please. How did Ryken do it?

Felt like Ryken scored almost every shot they put on goal. FOGO played really well against the Richmond PG committ and Ryken defense held GC good enough to keep them in the game.

Everyone seems to forget Ryken and DM were there upper echelons of the WCAC 20 years ago.

Ryken HC coach should be up for Wash Post COY if they pull off the upset on Monday.

always a cycle in any sport. it appears many of the St. Johns players are over-hyped and over recruited. I see many seating the bench in college.

totally agree. They had a good run for a few years for some very specific reasons, Under Armour money plus a great recruiter. Under Armour ain’t what it used to be and the recruiters gone. Now they fall back to the pack where they’ve spent most of their history

Btw I thought penalizing a celebration was really bad refereeing, especially after letting a bunch of really bad high hits go throughout the game.

10000% agree. They didn’t call anything physical for so long and then decide to randomly call for celebrating. Kids celebrate when they score. As they should.

DeMatha one win away from earning DMV 1a or 1b Title. Could argue Landon's win against Benjamin gives them the edge for 1a but it's close. Messersmith COY for sure, not close.

Ryken coach or DeMatha coach should get coach of the year. In my opinion, DeMatha coach Messersmith should get it because he has led a dominate gritty DeMatha team all year and got the team back after a slow start.
