Seems Landon is developing a scheduling MO. “Dodge local teams that might beat us”. |
Its not how you start, its how you finish. You are delusional if you think SJC is a top 4 team in the DC area this year, they didn't even make it to the final 4 of their own league playoff. Cadets had talent this spring but clearly coaching was subpar and some team culture problems, they under-achieved, PERIOD. Georgetown Prep is in the same boat as above, had some individual talented players but were very inconsistent through the season. Give Ryken the respect and credit they deserve, they are playing good ball right now and are clearly extremely well coached. 1. Landon 2. Bullis 3. DeMatha 4. Ryken 5. SJC 6. Prep 7. GZ 8. GC 9. STA 10. EHS |
which local teams do you believe they ducked? |
|
DeMatha should probably be ranked much lower given their schedule. They had to dumb down their schedule to include a couple of low end South Carolina teams, the 3rd best team in the IAC from last year, the absolute bottom from the MIAA, terrible public from Southern MD and a mid PA team.
Congrats on the softest #3 schedule ever. |
DM lost 11-10 to La Salle* |
And not one game vs St. John's because none of IAC teams want to play them early in the season 🤷♂️. |
|
and St John's doesn't want to play Bullis or Landon or Prep later in the season.

| all quiet on military road these days |
A beautiful day in the DMV. We’ve got a DM vs Ryken WCAC championship. GZ sent home by DM and SJC discarded in the quarter finals with the other average teams - just like the old days. “Where have you gone . . . Paul Rabil?” |
| Lets go RYKEN! |
Yes Sir. 2022 is ancient history. A covid aberration aided by masterful Ince recruiting. Enjoy the return to mediocrity keydets. It’s DM’s WCAC again. Go Stags! |

I am no Landon fan but the Benjamin team they played was legit tough and they hung their only loss on them. |
From what I have seen and heard not many incoming class of 29 players. Maybe get one or two transfers. DM might be lucky to have a JV team next year. With 16 seniors graduating a lot of JV players will be pulled up to V next spring. |
