Congrat to Landon on back to back #1 ranking in the dmv. Landon is 35-3 in the last two seasons and ended last year as the #6 team in the USA. Let’s see where this years team lands on that National list. Congrats to DM on a great season and hopefully a WCAC title. But don’t kid yourselves, your not going to see DM on that National rankings list.

Who knows. If they win the championship they could crack the top 25 on one of those lists. They are a little wonky. For instance - last US Lacrosse rankings still had GP as receiving consideration or whatever. Definitely congrats to DM on a fantastic year. And to Landon as well on great back to back seasons.

If DM wins, the majority of dcum would give him coy. Same goes for Ryken coach if they should pull the magical run. It would be 50/50 with the Washington Post as they will give it to some public for dei reasons.

What makes DeMatha vs Landon matchup intriguing is different styles of play. DeMatha is bigger, stronger, more physical. Landon is faster, more skilled, and strategic. Landon can run around you. DeMatha can run through you. They both beat Gonzaga 9-8. But we'll never know who is better because they didn't play each other this year.

Very true…these rankings are always suspect and favor the big names for sure.

Landon is going to go out and schedule Dematha next year, and win. Then Dematha is going to be sub par, and everyone is going to be mad that Landon ducked all of the good competition.
