who was it? |
Three locals.
31 A (Yorktown) 59 M (SJC) 98 LSM/D (Landon) |
As mentioned above, Ytown A was 31. And 3 total. - Connecticut a big fave. - MIAA (MD) seemed to have normal representation. - NJ had what seemed like a ton of guys? Maybe a record for them. - CO, NC, CA probably much more than normal. - MA numbers just keep growing. Suspect a number of those are out of towners from all over. - Upstate NY seemed to do nearly as well as the Island. Which seemed light. |
Speaks prolly on the phone with Yorktown kid. |
Speaks already tried to get Randles to transfer last year. He has zero loyalty to the kids in his own program which explains why the program has a serious culture problem. |
The Heights blew the doors off Yorktown 20-9 last year. The heights poy bro was easily better. The other NL 27 was bigger and better too. The yt kid did zippy. Posting ig and inflated va public stats means nothing. Good luck at cnu. |
He'd get owned in the WCAC or IAC where there is legit competition and teams scout one another.

LMAO at the salty tears from privates about all that money spent in the desperate drive to secure a D1 bench role. You don't get ranked 31 baaed on public school stats in Virginia or IG vids. It's from play against all the other guys, in large part privates, on the club circuit. Probably should worry about your own house when only 2 guys make the (bottom half) of the top 100. I guess we can just hope it's a down year. How do the '28s look? |
Not the PP. It's low 80's numbers for an entire sport. That's basically 1 guy per team. It was awhile ago, but mine had at least one every year. What you're looking at is how the sport has operated forever. So the last recruit on average doean't get a spot so he can sit the bench if he wants for 4 years. So what? He can tier down to a lower school and maybe get on the field. Again, been going on forever. |
Inside lacrosse is a mostly flawed stars and ranking system. You’re kidding yourself that 2-3 guys, who never played D1, can objectively evaluate and rank 1,000 kids from watching less than 10 tournaments over the summer in 100+ degree heat. Look at IL track record, most of these top ranked kids never get to play in college. |
Nobody ever said every guy is slotted perfectly. No one has ever said that. So why you're taking the anti of what no one has ever said is odd. Why don't you post the top 31 from any of the '21, '22 or '23 HS classes that played last spring, and we can see if "most" of these top ranked kids never get to play in college. |
He already got owned by the 7th place team in the WCAC and by transference the 4th place team in the IAC. He's definitely a showcase player where team defense doesn't happen. I've watched him play in the club circuit for a long time. He doesn't lift ML and definitely benefits from the other really good players on the team. IL definitely lost a lot of cred with this year's version of stars. There are at least 3 other players on ML a college coach should want. This doesn't mean he's bad. I remember some recent top 50 guys from Landon who never saw the field. It's a different level in college. |
19 of the top 25 from 2022 have provided low or non-existent statistics for their position according to AI. |
He's better than every guy in his class in the DMV, via objective sources. There may or may not.be other guys that coaches want more. You, however, are not the guy that knows whether that will happen, or should. It's above your pay grade. |
