OP is a blatant liar.

"Fifty-one percent of younger Gen Zers view [Trump] favorably"

You just described the Biden years. Recent polling finds Gen Z somewhat optimistic about their finances.

What absurd lie. That page says that Gen Z did a slightly better last year (Biden) than 2 years ago, and over 70% believe that Trump is ruining the economy.

I cannot imagine any of their generation would vote for a selfish, criminal, rapist narcissist!

Exactly. My teens (graduated highschool in Biden era) think trumpets are for old people. I can’t imagine how this is accurate polling. We know of only one redneck teen who trumpets and he is an outcast.

They are talking about rural youth, not DCUM

my point is it will continue to get worse and the Republicans have zero plan to address any of it, nor do they care. Kamala had a plan to address the housing crisis (among other issues) but the American voters thought this idiot (who thinks the US was around during ancient Roman times) would do a better job. And tariffs sure won’t help.

So there are no liberal incels? That's interesting.

All three of my Gen Z children are in long term relationships. Virtually all of their friends are as well. The group all leans right of center. They have jobs or are finishing up college. They make good money and go out together a lot.

NP. There are absolutely liberal incels. Misogyny does not differentiate.

For the 100th time, rich people are powerful but are not a statistically part of the voting population.

I’ve never, ever seen a liberal incel. Keep in mind that “not in a relationship” does not mean someone is an incel. Incel is a more a specific set of attitudes about women and dating. Finding a partner can be challenging no matter what your political beliefs are, but misogyny of the sort favored by incels skews overwhelmingly right wing. See JD Vance’s comments about childless cat ladies, Trump flying Andrew Tate to the US, etc.

JD Vance has 5 kids. I don't think he's an incel.

Incels.
Many of them are Joe Rogan, barstool conservative types.

Very much so.

It's pretty shocking to see how many of my teen son's friends worship Rogan and are big into the Barstools culture. These are kids I've known for 15+ years, and I've watched grow up. Most come from liberal, wealthy families in this area.

I noticed an interesting shift so far this prom season. Fewer couples in the photos posted on social media. There are a lot more groups of 5-10 guys going together and 5-10 groups of girls going together than I remember in past years (and I have 4 kids with my youngest being 17). DS has a gf and is going with her next weekend, but most of his other guy friends are going solo as a group. They don't consider any of the teen girls in their class as worthy of them. Teen guys these days consider teen girls to be NPCs and teen girls seem to think the same.

It is specifically gen z men that are more conservative. I posted the actual exit polls from the last election. Gen z women voted 61 percent for Harris and the men voted 48 percent for Harris. The largest gap than any other age group. The social media apparatus for right wing women is simply not as powerful as it is for the boys. There is no female conservative Joe Rogan or the barstool guys.

I can't believe this has to be explained, but politicians can in fact not be an actual member of a group they are trying to appeal to. Was JFK temporarily black when he spoke on civil rights in 1963?

Also, as mentioned above, incel has become more of a mindset of entitlement and misogyny rather than a relationship status. There are many married, divorced, and partnered men who subscribe to the incel tropes that women are hypergamous, turn into bitter dried-up hags after 25, only marry men for money, blah blah blah.

I think you're probably confused on the term incel. Yes, i'm sure there are liberal guys who've had trouble finding the right woman, for any number of reasons, including their own social ineptness or attitudes or whatever..

But the big difference is that liberals have not institutionalized male toxicity and made it into a cult, ala the followings that Andrew Tate and others on the right do. Can you name for me the left's equivalent to Andrew Tate who's like the pied piper leading all of the young liberal males into being misogynistic and arrogant and hateful? I can't.

Seems to me there's a lot of projection going on where it comes to this.

Trump approval was +5 in November among 18-29 year olds according to YouGov. Now he’s -29.

It’s the economy, stupid.
