Younger Genz support Republicans and Trump by 12 percent stunning

This makes a lot of sense because being young is about questioning the dominant culture, questioning your parents (who tend to look at Trump in the same way 50s parents looked at Elvis's dance moves), and reacting in a way to correct for society's past mistakes. Whether the left is right or wrong, they are incredibly consistent and ubiquitous in their messaging, so it was predictable that the youth would turn MAGA.

I have a Gen Z kid who despises Trump and so do all their friends. Of course, we are a wealthy family and my kid is an educated woman. So I guess you are referring to those poor, uneducated men voting for Trump as being "cool." That tracks. No one thinks they are cool. That is why the are single and complaining about how life is so unfair to them. They are being left behind.

It’s mostly liberal Gen Z females that don’t want to have sex. The conservative guys are hooking up with both the conservative females and the liberal females that aren’t celibate. There’s a fun world outside the liberal rage bubble.

LMAO sure buddy, sure. If that were true you wouldn't have all of these right wing incels. Women don't want to date them because they are toxic and full of crap.

LMAO nope. Everyone looks at you people wearing your cheap-ass Chinese made red MAGA hats and sees ignorant, self-centered dorks, it's complete cringe - the farthest thing from cool. Cool isn't gonna come from a senile, octogenarian boomer. And wanting to go back to some notion of an imaginary 1950s that MAGAs want isn't in the remotest in being forward thinking. No matter how much you want it, "cool" is never happening for you.

It's true that the 40+ crowd sees MAGA hats as cringe. But I'm telling you what I am observing. I'm seeing 20s white kids walking around clubs in MAGA hats like a fashion statement.

What you are seeing are the usual a##holes. No decent young man is wearing a MAGA hat.

But... a lot of young men feel ostracized by Democrats these days. The more extremist will go MAGA. But don't think for a moment that young men identify with Charles Allen, Brianne Nadeau, Janeese Lewis George and so on. These young men have no place to go.

And they are going elsewhere because progressives hate them.

I don't know what else to say except Democrats are morons.

In the '80s kids that age thought parachute pants were cool. Later on nobody would be caught dead in them. Same with all of the other "cool" stuff like shutter shades, JNCO jeans, Ed Hardy, frosted tips. And MAGA hats. CRINGE.

Incels.
Many of them are Joe Rogan, barstool conservative types.

Very much so.

It's pretty shocking to see how many of my teen son's friends worship Rogan and are big into the Barstools culture. These are kids I've known for 15+ years, and I've watched grow up. Most come from liberal, wealthy families in this area.

I noticed an interesting shift so far this prom season. Fewer couples in the photos posted on social media. There are a lot more groups of 5-10 guys going together and 5-10 groups of girls going together than I remember in past years (and I have 4 kids with my youngest being 17). DS has a gf and is going with her next weekend, but most of his other guy friends are going solo as a group. They don't consider any of the teen girls in their class as worthy of them. Teen guys these days consider teen girls to be NPCs and teen girls seem to think the same.

Man, it is so obvious that none of you have extensive contact with Latino teens.

Actually 59% of men between ages 18 and 29 disapprove of Trump. The pendulum has swung.

Democratic Party will be roaming the wilderness for 40 years.

Right? So many endless articles about the “male loneliness epidemic”, all centered on conservative young men. Right wing dating sites are a sausage fest.

Plus, the conservative young churchy tradwives are all saving themselves for marriage. They’re not going out to clubs and hooking up.

This is pure cope.

The 20 somethings see them as cringe too.

Don't know where that PP is hanging out, but I've not seen a single red hat at any of my kids' three schools (high schools or colleges). It's absolutely cringe.

But according to the PP the “cool kids” are wearing the red hat. 🙄

So what happens when they can’t afford to buy a home, can’t pay rent, can’t find good paying jobs, soaring healthcare costs, groceries are too expensive and the Republican party says you are SOL?

I cannot imagine any of their generation would vote for a selfish, criminal, rapist narcissist!

Exactly. My teens (graduated highschool in Biden era) think trumpets are for old people. I can’t imagine how this is accurate polling. We know of only one redneck teen who trumpets and he is an outcast.

Since Trump and Hegseth want the military purged of women, gay people, and non-whites, straight white Gen Z males can look forward to being drafted to support Trump’s territorial expansions into Greenland, Canada, and Panama.

You just described the Biden years. Recent polling finds Gen Z somewhat optimistic about their finances.
