Who are you trying to fool. Lots of crazy in your post. Where do I start? The only part that comes close to truth… he went to DCPS and read a single book. He read 1 book, probably a picture book, subject matter Martin Luther King, and he either didn’t finish it or it took him 13 years to do so. He’s miserable because he received a crap education, he wasn’t terribly bright to start with, so even the best education would have been wasted on him, and he can’t keep up at community college, and that’s your fault. Stop blaming other folks because you and your offspring are middling folks who made a bunch of bad choices with predictable results. |
Way to play into the elitist liberal trope. |
Who are the cool kids and what are their pronouns? |
MAGAs are delusional. Orange clown is literally destroying our kids’ future and they think that these kids are stupid enough not to realize what is happening. |
Other studies say the opposite. Perhaps many are apolitical or libertarian, but their belief system aligns with the alt-right: immutable hierarchy, white supremacy (they rank different races by looks, with whites at the top of course), nihilism, revenge fantasies, a longing to return to the "good old days" when women and blacks knew their place, the redistribution of rights, money, property, and jobs to men. The incel movement is a direct pipeline to the alt-right. Social media algorithms exploit this. It's how young men become gradually radicalized. |
Way to blindly follow the MAGA playbook. Claim hyperbolically that literally every book is DEI and hates whites, then blame some abstract group of "woke elites" because it's easier than understanding what is actually holding you back. |
No they don't have a legitimate gripe. Do we really have to rehash COVID and that millions died and we were grappling with how to handle a once-in-a-generation virus? And even if I were to agree with you, which I don't (and I had a kid in MS at the time), it's been 5 years. Get over it. |
Yep. And, of course, that poster did not come back and post a link. |
Essentially the silo that is DCUM, nothing abstract about it. |
Gen z is learning the hard way.
I’m getting my nails done and enjoying my beautiful home. It’s a shame they couldn’t bring themselves to vote for the nice lady that wanted to help them. Maybe some day they can have had disposable income and own property. Oh well. They’ll get another crack at it in a couple of years. |
You’re proving the PP’s point. Shifting the blame onto a faceless entity. Please name these specific DCUM posters who turned entire K-8 reading lists into white hatred. |
She completely forgot about Gen Z who are still in middle school and high school. |
That’s Gen Alpha, not Gen Z, plus they can’t vote yet. |
X100 I raised two white boys in DCPS who don’t hate themselves. In fact, my older one read Kite Runner, Dracula, and Homegoing in MS (and maybe one freshman year) and loved all and told me to read them so we could discuss. Graduating from a T25 in May. Probably center politically and thinks Trump is an idiot because of his disastrous economic policy and was shocked that he could run because he’s a felon. Youngest is very progressive. |
Seems fishy. I find it hard to believe that anyone in the US classified as gen z ever had a flip phone. |
