This Oliver guy isn't coming across as very intelligent pretty one sided really. I mean no advantages. There they are this past summer two women with Y chromosomes ( cis not trans ), battling it out for silver and gold for boxing at the summer games. The point is athletics are about the extremes places where science doesn't perform very well. However, it should be noted that it wouldn't take very many trans or even cis athletes to turn women's athletics into a circus. Furthermore, what you have to understand is that these are businesses an WNBA team is trying to make money. No one is going to go see a team of trans-thletes from Transylvania compete. I don't think men are interested in it nor are women. It's a business decision. There is precedent. They banned Marfan syndrome in the NBA, no one wants to go watch a guy dunk then have a heart attack. Yeah, it's sad, start a non-for-profit the end.

There are no men’s sports, only women’s sports. All the major pro leagues allow women (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, PGA etc.) They have no gender rule, if there is a woman who can hoop like LeBron she will go #1 in the draft.
