Sexualization of female athletes

Claim: Sexualization of female athletes is the real motivation for opposing transgender girls in sports (aside from general anti-trans beliefs).

I am separating out "general anti-trans beliefs because:
most anti-trans people either pretend to accept transgender women and girls but opposed having them in sports, or use religion reasons to justify their attitude, which has nothing to do with sports and wouldn't merit comment on sports.

Evidence:
1. Transgender girls in sports is a major issue for conservatives, despite the number of incidents related to transgender girls being far far smaller than the number of sexual assaults perpetrated by cisgender heterosexual coaches against players

2. No one ever complains about transgender boys causing problems. They just get swept up in generic bans inherited from owners sports or based in generalized belief that transgenderism isn't real.

3. The same people who oppose transgender girls in girls sports, have no problem with discriminating against the entire girls sports teams in favor of boys teams. Because they don't care about girls sports, only about how sexually attractive the players are.

4. There is no evidence that transgender girls cause more competitive or safety damage, per capita, than cisgender transgender girls.

Men don't want to goon over a woman or girl that is surprisingly transgender.

I know, right? Why have men's and women's sports at all? We should all get over ourselves and just have single leagues for sports, since there's no reason to have boys and girls leagues.

1. Sexual assaults - what does one have to do with the other? It is biological women complaining about non-biological women being in their formerly private spaces. Biological women have been sensitive about private spaces for thousands of years. It is an issue of privacy and not wanting to see male genitalia.

2. Transgender boys - They have a far less chance of defeating boys in male sports, so they are not relevant to the question of fairness about boys competing in female sports.

3. Discriminating against entire girls sports teams - this makes no sense as written. If you mean boycotting entire teams for the existence of a single transgender girl athlete, the issues are that of fairness and safety during sport. There are numerous examples of transgender girl athletes injuring biological girls, but none (to my knowledge) of transgender boys injuring biological boys.

4. Injury rate - Of the publicized cases, the severity of the injuries caused by transgender girls seem disproportionate to those injuries caused by biological girls. Injuries do happen, but safety is a valid concern where the transgender girl athlete has a greater ability to cause injury than a biological girl athlete.

Female athletics is a gendered activity. Get over it. If you are looking for a non-gendered activity, I suggest you look elsewhere. It's poor form to interfere.

I am all for tran athletes playing girls and women sports but men are not watching girls or women’s sport for sexual gratification. If this were true girls/womens sport would have huge audiences of men. Though this is true for lesbians.

Largely, yes.

They go there to watch other men’s daughters, for the sexual thrill. You need only look at the design/fit/cut of the uniforms in women’s sports to know it’s about sexual titillation. Sportswear designed to reveal just enough, to highlight certain anatomy, yes it’s a real thing.

That’s why these men are so outraged at the idea of “men” competing on women’s teams - because they’re able to see the anatomical differences and features that differentiate women’s bodies from trans women’s bodies. Their homophobia causes them to feel shame, self loathing and disgust when they view a trans woman the same lustful way they ogled women.

That’s why they oppose trans women in women’s sports. Their own self conscious guilt.

Our society overemphasizes sports. Lame. Sports related scholarships aren’t that great and require your kid to miss a lot of classes.
