Interesting Brown going to waitlist so early.

If you go back to page 3 of this thread, you will see that Brown under-admitted compared to last year. They likely expected to go to the waitlist early.

They track the rate of deposits compared to prior years. And they admitted fewer people in RD.

How does one "petition for reconsideration"? Is there a process? Should kid ask CCO?

Answering my own post- just read college confidential thread and cleared up.

Dean J said that if your residency changes, they reconsider the application and it wasn't the same as going to the WL.

Sounds like Pomona, CMC are the most selective schools other than Brown to go early to WL.

Also Davidson, Richmond, BU.

Texas did too. I know 3 kids who got off. All average to below average private school kids with mega wealth.
