| I bring a salad and I want it cold. I also have a fridge in my office leftover from when I was pumping for my kids. It is great to have. |
| I have smoked salmon and yogurt-is in the fridge along with my cold brew. |

Things I don't miss about working in an office!!
The office fridge and the people who refuse to remove their used Keurig pod from the machine. |
Proper offices have a fridge in the pump room. |
That doesn't mean I want to eat a warm turkey sandwich and warm yogurt. |
+1. I work in food safety and we all keep our lunches in the refrigerator. I guess we're just dumb. |
you eat smoked salmon in the office? |
It’s literally a bodily fluid. that’s disgusting and likely violates a lot of safety regs. Plus I wouldn’t put my baby’s milk in a collective refrigerator. |
Do you feel the same way about cow’s milk? Also literally a bodily fluid…. |
You put it in an insulated bag and no one knows. Also stfu. |
Ok so don’t eat it warm. That’s totally fine. I don’t like to eat warm cold cuts either. It doesn’t mean it’s going to kill me if I do, however. |
They are eating lox on a bagel, not smoking the salmon. |
I bring a turkey or ham sandwich to work most days. They don’t go in the fridge. I make them the night before and put them in my refrigerator at home. I eat lunch around 11:30 and by then they are the perfect temperature. I’ve never gotten sick. |
| I once worked in an office that had a single, large refrigerator. People complained that it was constantly full, so management got a second one installed. Then both were constantly full. The number of employees did not change. I guess office refrigerators are an example of induced demand. |
We switched to industrial fridges without a freezer side. |
