Marijuana use causes psychosis

Um no … the world is actually realizing that legalizing with no regulation was a bad idea and that THC is a lot more risky than previously known.

Um no ... the world is fine, but posters here have their own psychosis - like you

Even the highest doses are way less harmful than alcohol which is already very legal and accepted everywhere. Most people aren't anywhere close to these supposedly "harmful dose" levels either.

I don't even like it or use it reguarly, but I love fighting against uniformed people like you. Maybe you should go take a gummy and see what happens. You might be surprised.

This isn’t true. While marijuana is likely overall safer than alcohol, that doesn’t mean it is safe. It can cause psychosis and can be addictive. I don’t want my kid to drink or smoke pot but at least the risks of alcohol are better understood and it is easier to understand exactly what you are getting when you drink alcohol.

You keep saying psychosis when this is not at all common. You do not need to smoke anything to get the benefits of THC. I can tell you have 0 actual experience and that's fine, but the fear mongering does no one any good. Feel free to worry about it, but when you come to a public forum spouting BS, you are going to get called out.

That’s true. You can get THC caused psychosis from edibles, too.
PP, I have kids in high school and college and each one has had 1 or more friends whose lives have been upended by the high potency levels in today’s THC, however ingested.
As someone who has grown marijuana for 10 years+, this thread is entirely astroturfed by people who don’t use THC.

Probably professional accounts.

You don’t need to smoke THC. You can eat it.

As for “scromiting” I’ve done that … it’s what happens when too much THC builds up in your system, after being stored in fat calls over time. It happens largely when you ingest concentrates.

It’s mostly just another name for “dry-heaving” and you can’t have any substances, food, alcohol or anything else except for trying to keep yourself hydrated. If you don’t know what’s happening, it’s scary, but it’s NOT going to kill you.

If nothing else it’s basically a forced cleanse of several days, easiest diet you’ve ever been on because you don’t even want to look at food.

No one goes “psychotic” on large doses of marijuana. What really happens is that you are largely incapacitated and can barely get up off the couch. But you process it and come out of it.

There have been no deaths EVER attributed to marijuana use unless you get into a car. Tell me that about any other drug.

Not a single active marijuana user on this whole thread who knows anything about what they’re squawking over

None of anyone’s business what anyone else does with something THAT WON’T KILL THEM
Imagine trying to normalize scream vomiting.

I smoked pot a little in college in the early 2000s and I was pro legalization. I thought it was very unfair alcohol was legal but people were getting years in prison for pot.

But the marijuana on the market these days is different and way way higher in thc.

MJ consumers aren't cutting off their own dicks, but thanks for confirming the age old DCUM sterotype.

I wouldn’t count on it.

Sure they are! I guarantee he has it in his system right now.

Can you provide a scientific, peer reviewed study that backs up this claim? I’ll wait.

What makes you think I have no experience? I had very negative experiences with pot which is why I counsel my DS not to try it. And the connection to psychosis is increasingly well established as are the issues with addiction.

Sometimes you might smoke too much and it makes you a little paranoid for a hour or two, but I don't believe that it can turn anybody into a schizophrenic. That is ridiculous. Those people were schizophrenic already and happened to smoke weed.

You've not had psychosis in your family.
