The richest guy in the world has no idea what he's doing to the economy?

#1 - It reduces government spending, thus reducing inflation.
#2 - It reduces the abundant waste of DC, therefore, housing in DC will become a lot more affordable.
#3 - LOL at people that take money from the government and think they're important.

He has expressed support for Virginia feds to find jobs in the private sector. So I doubt he'll have any sympathy for private sector contractors "on the government dole" (presumably in his mind).

Youngkin isn’t even pretending to care about his constituents. He’s busy signing bills to ban a handful of trans kids from laying volleyball while his Dear Leader is laying waste to his constituents’ lives. He’s vile.

I have to believe the VA republicans want to retain the Governership and that race is happening this year.

Nobody will support them if the headlines each month are about massive VA job losses. Again, it won't just be NoVA...it will be Newport as well as random deep red parts of VA.

Washington Post said a contractor in central VA had to let go 70% of their employees and a Trump voter was shocked that they lost their job because Trump was elected. Nobody could connect those dots.

Another "leopard ate my face" MAGA bites the dust.

McKinsey and Deloitte too. Talk about useless expensive parasites!
Useless until support is needed after 6 pm or on week-ends or a Federal holiday.

I see Federal workers providing 24x7x365 support for mission-critical databases and transaction servers…wait a minute, getting clearer…seeing it…NOT LIKELY.

Govvies do like their guaranteed vacations, holidays, and daylight working hours.

Sure, there are exceptions but it is mainly contractors pulling the load when Federal workers quit work for the day.

Hilarious in that I work for one of these companies and they were all so excited when Trump won. I never understood why the government wouldn’t just go directly to the hardware/software companies directly.

Golly, I hope the people creating the mess are not this ignorant.

Pulling at a thread on a sweater unravels the whole thing. The sweater is the economy, and these guys just took scissors to it instead of just pulling a thread.

The govt does not go directly to these companies because they don’t want it found out they are major stockholders or part owners of these companies.

Appearance of not having your hand in the cookie jar is everything.

We are going to have a recession in this area, the likes of which we have never seen.

Yes but there will be lots of consolidation work. However selling over priced liberal news subscriptions for 10k a year per person is going to stop
