I can write on and on about Sidwell’s amazing students who continue to show why their main rivals are students at NYC’s finest prep schools. Before Maret and GDS parents start raging, why don’t you focus on getting your kids into a decent college. MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, Penn, Chicago, and Northwestern know that Sidwell students are a mile above their competitors in the DMV.

Please don’t take this post the wrong way. The other schools make good employees.

They seem to have avoided some of the crazy that hit other campuses, and are well run. Parents of students who matriculated from my kids' school speak well of it. Seems to be a good school for students for whom it would be good.

Note that on paper, their SAT scores seem weaker than, say, GMU. But in practice, per SCHEV, around 40% of CNU's freshmen submit test scores, which is a much higher rate than at the other mid-tier Virginia public institutions (GMU's is only 20%!) The actual test scores for the student body are likely in fourth place behind elites: VT, UVA, and WM.

Not until May. They post college destinations on the school's official Instagram and its not done until all admissions are determined.

I wish all schools did this. SR used to (in addition to the unofficial student account), but they didn't last year...

The SR matriculations are listed in the Alumni magazine, which is accessible online.

LOL you sound desperate. All high schools have kids who graduate and go to college. Maybe some didn't check the box for "college prep" schools, but bottom line there is a big difference in ranking when you include high schools in the mix.
