CNU seems strongly represented on a few of these lists. Has this school gotten stronger over the years? I'm surprised to see it on so many lists.
They seem to have avoided some of the crazy that hit other campuses, and are well run. Parents of students who matriculated from my kids' school speak well of it. Seems to be a good school for students for whom it would be good. Note that on paper, their SAT scores seem weaker than, say, GMU. But in practice, per SCHEV, around 40% of CNU's freshmen submit test scores, which is a much higher rate than at the other mid-tier Virginia public institutions (GMU's is only 20%!) The actual test scores for the student body are likely in fourth place behind elites: VT, UVA, and WM.
