My high stat, OOS, daughter is still waiting to hear. She applied for Engineering undecided and submitted her application middle of october. 3.95 UW and 4.25 W with a 33 ACT. 4's in AP Calc BC, APush and a 5 in AP Comp Sci A. Shes in multivariable now and AP Physics. We are starting to get concerned that other kids from her school have heard and she hasnt yet. Its her top choice.

Is thevEA application submission process different than "rolling" admissions or is it all the same in terms of when admissions decisions are sent?

DD accepted within one week OOS. 4.65 GPA and a lot of APs.

Unless they give merit aid for anyone OOS with no financial aid it is a no for most people.

They will go through all the EA apps first. They release them in batches by college. So, just b/c someone hasn't heard doesn't mean anything if their college hasn't released. Anecdotally, the first release seems to be mainly high stats kids. All EA applicants will hear by sometime in December. After that, admissions goes into true rolling.

My son’s friend with similar stats didn’t get in to UP. You never know these days.
