| so would the St. James lose GA if they can not get approved for MLS NXT? or would they automatically get it since they have GA |
| How in the world will they get MLS with the quality of their boys' side? |
| There is now a way for ASA to get GA. They lost GA status not too long ago due to poor performance. They are really struggling in the MLS Next atmosphere in every angle. There are much better options around the DMV. Stay away! |
Sounds like a salty or scared parent here? Better options...lost GA Status due to poor performance....lol |
| Seems like a good opportunity for a club with strong boys (Mlsn) to combine with a club with girls (GA). Alex + St james? |
| Only answer is they merge with SYC and the new club Springlandia gets two teams because Alexandria is huge. |
Could say the same thing with teams that got GA last year...... |
I was wondering the same thing. |
Salty? Scared? There are better options. They did lose the GA status; perhaps you are a newb or can digest the news.
|
Perhaps the 2012, they are ok, but FVU or Arlington are better or SYC as well. |
Zero incentive for SYC to merge with Alexandria. SCY can continue on and kids that want to play GA/MLS Next, and are good enough can just migrate to SYC. Nothing wrong with being a nice community club. It may bither the wine moms who want to brag about their kids though. |
Sounds, correct. ASA is heading that way for sure. And that is ok! Let them keep focusing on their rec program. Is huge! |
It is quite possible actually, they lost GA status shortly after taking over a poorly performing Metro United GA program. It was more about Metro United. They are also doing fine in MLS Next. Ages U15-19 did fine in the MLS Fest showcase. If it wasn't a win, it was a competitive game. The Mid-Atlantic conference is tough. All the MLS Next clubs in that conference from this area did well at the showcase. |
Sorry your DS didn't make the team. Maybe you should try to think about something else? |
Fine is not good. |
